rjmthe2nd
Remember in GTA VC, their was a mission, called "The Job" where Tommy, Recruits Hilary King, a good ass racer to become a driver (but ends up dieing in the heist) Phil Cassidy to bring the guns and last but not least a bank robber named Cam Jones... http://gta.wikia.com/Cam_Jones its funny that he looks little bit like a blonde trevor. it could be that R* Based Trevor off of Cam, with the personality of Phil Cassidy thrown in their. so what you think? similarity or no? Race-n-Chase
No. And what would be clever about it?
rjmthe2nd
And it also shows that Trevor represents the side characters we weren't able to play as
rjmthe2nd
No. And what would be clever about it? Cuz Trevor is also involved in bank robbing and they look kinda similar...

Magic_Al
There isn't as much direct copying of characters as trying to redo some of the same ideas better than when the game was less sophisticated. Simply, Michael and Franklin are older/wiser reinventions of past GTA story protagonists while Trevor is the GTA player. Having Trevor lets the player choose to play Michael and Franklin seriously and do crazy stuff with Trevor, providing a path to avoid the character contradictions of GTA IV: Niko having compassion in scripted situations but killing as many random people as you want in free roam. That's not to say you can't have Michael and Franklin be crazy, but some players like to keep a protagonist in character.
