Satourn
So hai, Gaming Chat. I've recently found out about certain games that you can create your own level for and show other people, and they can play it too. I'm talking about games like Amnesia (custom stories we all know about), DOOM (don't know about this one though, I've found a site which has a big number of new levels for the game) and Super Mario World (I'm talking about hacks people make - they add their own levels etc. Look here or watch, say, if you still don't get the idea). These games have gotten me well, I became interested in them and so on. Now I'm looking for more games like those listed above, that's the reason of this topic. Does anybody here know any games like those listed above? If yes, can you list them? P.S. It needs to be working on Windows XP. Thanks in advance. Satourn
Forgot to mention one thing - flash games don't count. Not that they are bad, I just don't look for them.
trip
You mean stuff like Unreal Tournament 3? If you want to go back to something a bit simpler like Doom, maybe check out Duke Nukem 3D. The Duke 3D level editor/designer is not as complex as some of the newer ones (ie. UT3) and might be a fun place to start. The last one I worked with was UT3 and it was almost like working in AudioCad. My crappy games at MyCrappyGames.com Free copy of Save The Puppies and Kittens

Satourn
I know double-posting is a bad thing and I'm bumping my own topic with nothing to contribute, but I'm still looking for those certain games I've described earlier, and if anyone can help me, please do. Fireman
Problem is a lot of games have map editors and custom stories/levels to make using tools (either made by the developer or by fans/hackers). Do you want to create levels yourself or just play levels that were made by other people?

Do you want to create levels yourself or just play levels that were made by other people? 2nd variant. And I didn't really encounter that many games like those I've described.
