Cali_Legeend
I would think the damage stays on you until you die not forever it'd be disturbing.
Cyfa
Nice, we get the bullet wounds from MP3. @Cali_Legeend Or make you seem more bad ass.
GTA_freakydeaky
This "Preview" is just rehashed stuff with bullsh*t lies are people this naive?
iFight
None of this is really new. And I'm still hating the idea of background music, it's kind of stupid. I'll be turning that off first thing I get the game. it's only in missions maybe, it isn't bad at all. Your choose anyways
nigelhere9901
"Sometimes damages (like wounds, Injured by bullet...) will leave marks on the body of the characters forever." Did R* tell them about this? If not then this must be a texture glitch.
YoungChrist
this details leaked by the Russian magazines in 23 may Sometimes damages (like wounds, Injured by bullet...) will leave marks on the body of the characters forever. In the beginning of the demo we seen Franklin jumping out of a plane with a parachute, While Franklin in the air, you notice a lot of interesting things: A military base hidden in the hills. Wild animals prey on each other. Motocross track and a hunting ground. Also you see tourists walking in the mountains, near the river and a few people go fishing, and more. Some of the problems that associated with the low capacity of some platforms still exist, like the number of cars on the street... For the first time in the series there was background music. The underwater world around Los Santos looks great, it's probably the most beautiful image of the sea in the games. Colored fish swim among the rocks and Shark swims near you. Source: Behindgames holy shizu. Sometimes damages (like wounds, Injured by bullet...) will leave marks on the body of the characters forever. i like this one. Yea same, its a small thing buts its a little incentive to actually avoid getting shot.
Catwalk
...What if, just like cars need repairs, so does your face - LA is the plastic surgery capital after all... Not sure if the scar/wound thing will end up proving true but if it does I was thinking about plastic surgery as well. Would be as simple as going to a hospital/doctor's office, standing in a marker, pressing a button and the characters scars are removed for a fee. Would fit a fake LA perfectly. Cali_Legeend
Or maybe we stay with the injury because if the story line like far cry 3.
Lioshenka
I remember reading an article in Russian, I don't think they said forever, I somehow got a feeling that they will heal eventually. I think it was the way they said it, but I think this is plausable - once the health is back at 100% I would imagine the protag "re-sets".
Finn 7 five 11
None of this is really new. And I'm still hating the idea of background music, it's kind of stupid. I'll be turning that off first thing I get the game. It's not stupid at all, films have been doing this for a very long and it really does add to the mood, there is almost not a single movie released without it. Most games have it now too, you probably don't even realize, when V releases, try it for a while, long enough so you don't notice it, then turn it off. I'm sure there is am option to turn it off. And I doubt it would be playing while the radio is playing.
MosquitoSmasher
If that stuff is true, that sounds very nice. The damage reminds me of Batman in AA and AC, over time through the campaign his cape got damaged, he got blood on his face, tears in his suit and so on. I love little details like that. Boy that's quite a step up from MP3.

In Mafia I used to wait in the cover until the music finished (about 4-5 minutes) and then progressed.
