Funny, people keep on using this same dumb example, but it's clear that protagonists are one thing, and implementing tattoos and whatnot is another. If there were characters from the III era they would've been added from the beginning. Get it in your God-damned thick-heads that there won't be any III characters apart from the multiplayer.

hmmm other than the fact you've already been proven wrong about ballas... A gang wearing purple repeatedly battling a gang wearing green. All of Franklins friends have been seen wearing green hats, bandannas, and shirts. Franklin is almost always wearing green in all of the pics. Atleast 3 photos having Grove street graffiti. And why would Ballas return but not grove street???

There was an Spanish article that said the SWAT was "very confirmed" to be in the game, and it's very doubtful R* would go with a non-parody name after we already have the NOoSE, FIB and IAA. And it seems weird they'd just say Ballas and not say anything else about other gangs and it's also the only article that mentions Ballas, so I'd take this with a grain of salt.

 

But if it does turn out Ballas are confirmed to be in the game, I think it's safe to assume Families are as well.

Hey, people are just trying to be informative, like it or not, the different universe bullsh*t was made by R*, I also think it is stupid and that they should've found an alternative, like saying the cities just grew a lot very quick over the years and the events of past games just not being 100% accurate if they wanted everything to be more believable instead of saying the past games never existed in the newer games universe, but oh well, they didn't, so we gotta deal with it.

I have never seen anyone referring to GSF as one character, it is a group of characters, ones that were important to SA's story, even if only a few of them were given names. (please let's not turn this into a flamewar)
