Is the game finnished?

If that's how many collector's editions will be avaliable, this furthers proves that all of the extra digital content that comes with the preorder editions of GTA V will be released at a later date to everyone.

It's how many copies the Rockstar Warehouse is getting in total. Not across the globe.

350 will be sold in total from Rockstar's pages.

I know, but I'm saying that if every retailer gets roughly 500 CE copies for example, they won't number 10% of the total amount of copies that GTA V will sell in the next few years. And since I don't care about the caps/blueprint maps (each GTA V copy WILL come with a normal map like GTA IV) but I do care about the extra digital stuff, this just makes me happier

I hope they include a map inside the regular casing.

It wasn't 100% confirmed, but if you look closely, they say the map that comes with the preorder editions is a blueprint with some locations highlighted for quick cash. And since every GTA IV copy had a "regular" map, I don't see why GTA V shouldn't have one too.

Ye, I know they use to have it. Hopefully the blueprint will not work as a substitute. That would suck for people only getting the regular version.

 

I'm hoping for a smaller map inside the casing.

Although we don't know for sure, and I could possibly be wrong, I'm 99.999% sure the standard edition will have a regular paper map just like all GTS's before/

That's my guess:

 

SE and CE will come with both these maps:

 

Regular Map

 

Blueprint (extra) Map

 

The standart edition will come with just the Regular Map. I'm sure the blueprint map will be just a street map with some highlighted locations.

I would be bummed if they included the maps you gave me links too

Nah. Game won't be finished until the final weeks of july.

 

From mid-June on it'll be constantly played as R* hunt for any glitches that've avoided them up until now, I think they'll try rehance the graphics at least one more time also.

Stop reading into it so much. They can say "Have" because they currently are selling them wether they are finished or not. It would be weird if they are already for sale and say "we will have."

 

And does it really matter if it's finished? It will still release the same day either way. No difference.

When the game goes gold we´ll probably know about it. Developers usually report when a game is finished.

Its just an email from a random at Support. Dont trust this guy. He probably meant they were only planning for 350 and had already made the maps or whatever.

I doubt theyre just sitting on an already finished game. Disc/case production/shipping only takes a week or so. These games continue to get optimized and bug tested and even content added until a week before release.

Also you know what would be absolutely HILARIOUS? If one or two really rich people buy out every single Collectors Edition from the RockstarWarehouse + GameStops nationwide. I assume each gamestop will only carry 5 Collectors Edition max. Then those 2 people who buy it out will probably be one of the only ones with the exclusive items.
