wwinterj
As a few people have said a 32' TV should be the minimum you aim for. Disagree. I've a 26" Full HD TV that serves me just fine in my bedroom.

YoungChrist
20 inch is not good enough. Atleast under my income, and as an undergrad student my income is pretty low. Gonna pick up a 46" soon

Maglev
It all depends on how close you are too the screen 42" is small when you watch it from like 20m and 20" is huge if you sit close by. And HD or HD-ready doesn't matter because it will run on 720p (HD-ready) anyway. I enjoyed RDR the most on my sh*tty old fat TV. It really made it feel like an old western. Maybe GTA V is the best with high-tech stuff.
Niick99
Dude just thank god you have that stuff, cause some people will be playing this game on their old box style tv's. And yes as long as it is a 1080 hdtv and u have a hdmi cable thwn you will get the graphics to the fullest I have a vizio 70' inch hdtv with my xbox 360 and its hdmi connected

d3ex2
3 pages and no PC elitists posting yet ..wow! I have a 42" Samsung TV (1080p). It will do me just fine. Depends what size of room you're putting the TV in. My 42" TV is actually quite small in my bedroom. I think a 46"/50" would be better. If you only have a tiny room then you obviously will want a smaller TV. That's only a decision you can make. Any HD tv is fine to be honest because it isn't gonna run at 1080p (I'm sure our PC overlords will make sure to remind us of this fact). It will run at 720p. But obviously if you can get a 1080p TV then get it

dxbrandon
I have a 50inch hd Sony tv that I got off of HSN with flex pay payments, if you don't have the full amount for the tv, then this would be best for you other wise, your tv is just fine but you to sit a little closer though. scarface910
I use a Projector, this is how it looks in its smallest setting(70 inches?). If I had a bigger wall it would be around

blakeney
32" is minimum! The, and any that says any bigger is a MUST is either talking sh*t, or plays on the other end on their room (a big room at that!) For my playing position 32" is best, i guess a few extra inches wouldn't go a miss though, that's what the missus says anyway... talking about the telly... right guys? she means the telly?? HudS
30" is the max size IMO. If you use bigger then 30" then game starts to look bad. But im allways playing 0.5-2 meters from the screen so that could be the problem
Murad96
HD Ready or Full HD 1080p does actually matter. If you have HD Ready, you can change the settings on the Xbox (and probably your PS3) to 1080p instead of 1080i, and it'll make a difference. PC gamers aren't innocent. They do try to troll/start wars & arguments. I couldn't give a f*ck what people play on and I will only ever have a go at someone if they first have a go at me. So it's not all our fault.
Audiophile
I never said they didn't or that they were innocent. I said on this forum it's mainly the other way around and the console players seek out the PC players in every PC-related thread to bash them. When the release date was given and announced only for consoles the console players were in the thread bashing PC players telling them that they suck and so forth when the PC players had said nothing except perhaps expressed their disappointment. Flame-wars over platforms are something for moronic adolescent children, IMO. I game on consoles and my PC and I can't for the life of me understand why fan girls decide to troll and bash each other. Maybe because I'm 20 years old, maybe because I use both consoles and my PC for gaming. Either way I don't get it and think it's stupid and out of all the flame wars I have seen on this forum, the console fan-girls seem dumber than the PC fan-girls. Both are dumb though. And this thread isn't about that so if you want to continue this conversation then PM me. stee_vo
That depends, since PS3(and xbox) only does 720p and just resizes the image to "imitate" 1080p, the bigger the TV, the more pixels you'll see. That still depends on how close you sit to the TV. Big TV = Further away. Small TV = Closer. Smaller screen means that they pixels will be more compressed so you won't see as many jagged edges around stuff in the game.
