Damage car modificator and realism.

OK OK THIS IS f*ckING LEGIT.

 

But , don't you agree , that damage at cars on crashes ( car vs car or when it crash at wall etc...) should be a bit more improved at this game?

 

Well , i did ask here the specific question and people made ( sadly tounge.gif ) clear that i won't ever see ripped cars while they got hit from train.

But at least , cars to get easier with a strong crash to turn out to be scrap metal.The way also explosions happening to change.

This fire that happening slowly at machine at behind at wheels....is boring.There should be a chance while in crash , metal hit other metal and cause a spark which may reach the place that have gasoline of car and then car will auto explode.

Or depending on the car , some cars won't explode just turn out into a fire ball etc...

And anyway cars damage modificator to be more sensitive , much more like the real life ( but not that much : d ) , kinda a middle solution between much and not much , but for certain more than iv.

The damage has to be based on the way that crash have been made.When a track/tank or your high speed lead you into wall , should turn for sure your car into scrap metal and unplayable. ( it won't work Not cause of the machine ( but this too ) but because it will loose it's wheels it will be highly damaged etc...)

look at this.Iv had a kewl damage modificator for sure.But ( sry for my broken english ) i complainig about sensitivity.

You all here know how hard you have to work to cause this result.While YOU SHOULDN'T.A highly extreme crash caused by high speed or because a wankerish truck penetrated your an|_|s with high speed too should make cars like that.

 

Also for sure cars cannot get ripped in the middle , but they should ( this is the improvement i would like ) be something like that in gta v.

Or even worse.Things about cars should be more realistic.Also , some how R* should try to force us some how to make us incrase our driving skill because of such crashes that will make our cars unplayable and with the fact , that we will own now cars and which will be modificated according to our will and the repair ofc will cost.

Ugh.

Probably the CE and SE and pre-order starts have took ( for a hundred percent possibility ) your interests from anything else , or you do not care at all how cool is to crash in game and see awesome consequences happening from it.

In case the last thing happening , -_- why video with crashes have so many likes/views and in case 1st thing happening.....I doubht that this thread will be of interest any time soon ( or actually ever ) .

I'm okay with the GTA IV car damage. I'd also be okay with a slightly more realistic approach to car damage. It doesn't matter that much to me.

So you either want us to drive really slow (LOL This is GTA) or you want to make us have to health cheat it up or ditch our car every time we go fast?

wow.gif Seems legit no? Bad also , rly bad.

 

Ofc , i would like to focus mostly to option the car to taking major damage mostly at EXTREME speed crashes and that will have as result ( when it's yours and you modified it ) to spend some extra $ to repair it based on the amount of dmg it took.

Example: It might took dmg only outisde ( even if it look scrap metal ) and the machine took no dmg , cause you paid lots and lots of money for a upgrade which make the armor of your car stronger.

 

I bet that all of you are aware that cars have the option ( when u are a bad ass mother f*cker ) to become "armored"

 

Let's find examples.TANK ( joke ) , rolls royce , some mercendes ( after ordering ) hammers....Think that these are nuff examples.

It is just cool to have your own car when it's about to wank with cops , cause if you take/steal a strangers car , you don't know it's remainig fuel , the durability , speed of engine and lotssssssssssss of stuff.

 

that's all i'm saying.Not just how the car look after a crash , but an overall look at its statistics.

 

Oh well....I would like to repeat ( as in some other thread i made ) that i want ( if not 100% ) 80% of gran turismo 5 to jump in gta v ( as i would like just cause 2 and lots of other millitary games to jump into gta v too tounge.gif ( Well not cod , i'm talking mostly about millitary vehicles http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...tary+suggestion )).

Seriously even to this day i am impressed with the models in gta 4, hit the side, there is a dent in the side. Front left bumper? Front left bumper is dented.

 

sh*t, the other day i flipped my car and landed on the roof then it rolled over and the roof was dented in! thats the first time i saw that and it blew me away.

 

So imagining what they have done for V blows my mind. Its crazy!

Good luck getting ancient consoles to run something realistic. That's one reason they can't. Another is because they know most players don't take care when going around, and don't want to keep switching every minute.

That's because of dynamic damage. But in 5, i think they should increase damage when at full speed. Slow crashes are great, but full speed headons have to be improved.

Play NFS most wanted if you want to crash like that.

Totally agree. More realistic damage to cars would make car-chases much more enjoyable since you have to balance on the line between not damaging your car, and driving fast enough to catch up or get away.
