If you dont agree with this thread amd dont like my opinion, WHY ARE YOU TAKING THE TIME TO POST HERE???? Look at your first post OP. Read towards the bottom..."your opinions are appreciated". Don't yell at people for having a different opinion than you, in a thread where you asked for peoples' opinions. Mulitplayer adds a fantasitc element to the game, and I've had some of my best moments playing with my friends in free roam on GTA IV. I would be very sad if it wasn't included in GTA V. You can do all of these awesome things in single player, and just imagine how much more fun it could be with your friends or other players online. Ok but see hes not voicing an opinion, hes insulting me and my thread, something I will not stand for. You see some people on her think they can just walk over people like that guy, and most of the time on gtaforums they can, but not me Right because you haven't insulted people in this very thread? Using terms like "nitwit" or calling someone a "virgin"? My point is that you seem to be very aggressive with people who have a different opinion, and it's not helping your cause. On to whats more important...Just because GTA started off as a single player game doesn't mean that multiplayer shouldn't be a welcome addition. What if multiplayer capablilities weren't an option availalbe to R* at first? Your concern that R* slapped mulitplayer on just to appease the modern day gamer, is also not that big of an issue. We have all seen what a "slapped on" multiplayer mode looks like . I think we can all agree that even for GTA IV, R* spent a lot of time and thought into their multiplayer and it was pretty fluid for the most part. In other words, it seems like muliplayer was in the blueprint for GTA IV from the very beginning. This is even further amplified as look at GTA V, where R* is promissing some mind blowing multiplayer material. I mean just take a few moments to look around the forums and see the kind of anticiaption everyone has for more information on this. Think about it...pulling heists in the GTA world with AI or with actual people who can help plan and actually care about you as a player. If you choose the AI route, I worry about your social skills. But I see that it is very satisfying for many players and I have to admit that the few times I tried it it was fun for some time. I guess you need some real friends to play with on a regular basis. If you want to play it then play it. It's personally not for me but I know people love it and Rockstar knows it so they are making it better for those who enjoy it. Sonic89 Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Even if the games were great when there wasn't any mp mode during the ps2-era, I can't deny that the thought of mp in a GTA was a huge fantasy of mine back then. I didn't play the mp in IV but I did try the mp in RDR and it was absolutely great. So if V is half as fun (but my guess is it will be twice as fun), then it will be perfect, even if the core of the game will stay the single player.
