What would you do if they delay GTA V AGAIN

I pledge to sell one share of TTWO stock, significantly below market, each day that GTAV is delayed beyond 17 September 2013. After about a half million years, TTWO would be feeling the resulting damage to their stock price, and would pressure Rockstar into releasing GTAV. See, you have to be proactive, not reactive.

Not really an applicable example. Twice the DNF development team got downsized due to financial difficulties, losing all their best people in the process. At times there were only a handful of people working on it. Because it took so long platforms changed several times, so they had to start over. And also because it took to long, they had to switch game engine several times.

 

So without a consistent development team working to a clear vision fast enough so that technology didn't overtake them, you end up with the mess that is Duke Nukem Forever.

 

GTA:V on the other hand benefits from a huge development team working for a financially robust company, developing fast enough for the technology the game is built on to remain current. So while it's not a complete given, circumstances would suggest that if they had to take a little longer, on balance the game ought to turn out better.
