Rockstar has promised that, combined with the explorable underwater and interiors, that the Grand Theft Auto V world is larger than the likes of San Andreas, GTA IV, and RDR put together. Whether this means the streets, including that of which we haven't seen and may not have been given a truly clear idea of the size of, are around the size of IV's LC, we don't know. The forum-wide controversy can trail on, but until September 17th (or rather, when that preview appears just a day before the release), we will not know whether or not the game (or just Los Santos) is extremely small. And while the conversation continues (as one person simply repeating what many have already won't urk you to stop), think about this: what if Rockstar purposely put that blueprint on the 'ad' for the SE and CE just to toy with us? What if the scale of the city isn't properly represented on the blueprint (whether that means the city is actually smaller or bigger than what people have pieced together), and purposely as well? I do hope you're right, that's just to give fans a sense of how LS looks like generally, and it's really misrepresented in the ad just to lure us into piecing parts of the map together. After all, why take so much care in hiding the map from us, then just carelessly display it out for everyone to see in the SE & CE ad, right? I think the city is rather unimpressive. I mean look at East Los Santos and the way things are laid out. It looks kind of silly. But because of all of the content this city has, I can deal with it. Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 I bet there are more roads than the Blueprint is showing, the Blueprint only shows the mainroads... see if you can locate the beach on the Blueprint, I can't... so there are no beaches in V !? Is this also a main road for you? It's just a small useless baby road A baby road with four lanes, each 3,5m (or 10,5ft) wide? The roads visible on the map are mostly main roads, like the one going down the middle of Alderney, or closer to the road going in front of Roman's apartment in Hove beach. If what we see on the map is such roads and LS' freeways, the smaller roads and house blocks cannot be seen on it. My guess is that it is slightly bigger than LC's landmass, ~1,2x its size (not including decorative islands like happiness island). It should be big enough. That screen from the blimp looking down is impressive, and that is just one part of the city. Also I thought LC was too damn boring, it was like every street was the same, buildings and streets, buildings and streets more buildings and more streets, there was nothing there. I said this plenty of times and I stick too it, I liked GTA IV but no other GTA till today was able to beat the experience and fun I had in SA. And If you remember right LS, Las Venturas and San Fierro put together were very small and had no detail at all, but there was lots of variety and and that made it fun. This LS looks huge and damn detailed and this is just what we saw and what was shown to the press, no one yet have seen the rest of it. So stop bitching about something you didn't saw yet, the map we got access doesn't have a scale, and for the comparisons we can make from screens into the map, huge spaces/ buildings are tiny spots in that map, so imagine how big it will be. I think some of you need to play some S.A. again and remember how it was exactly, to be honest doesn't look that big now, specially with the lack of details and outdated graphics. So If the map I get with gta 5 isn't as big as my bed ill be disappointed...
