Yeah even more than private jets, which I hope you can buy and be flown in -- like hire your own pilot so you can enjoy the interior. I can only imagine how much this yacht could cost. Near $100million? God that would be crazy! We complained about not being able to spend money too well in IV now we might be complaining about how our money goes so fast in V! Yeah, we might be cursing Rockstar when we realize that yes money has purpose this time, but some things will be out of reach for quite some time. This actually sounds very plausible, especially considering the hatch in the back of that yacht is often times used to store jet skis, dinghies etc. Also, judging by the amount of detail put in the rear it looks like we will be able to, among other things, dock the yacht. Besides, V runs much better than IV did and likely it's engine can handle more complicated stuff like driving a yacht at 40 miles an hour. And who are you to say we can't own this yacht? There is a 50% chance we will be able to own this thing or maybe we'll be able buy a similar yacht. It would be cool if we could own it but I wish there would've be a helipad where the hot tub is. Maybe this is a mission yacht and you can buy a different yacht? I'm sure those big toys mentioned a while ago aren't just helicopters or even private jets. mulder84 Posted August 8, 2013 Share Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) We will not be able to drive this. it would lagg. ever been in a lobby where a modder spawns a lots of tuggs? it lags now image that X2 bigger It's because there needs to be lots of communication between all consoles/machines on where exactly it should be mapped to all the players, AND at the same time calculate collision physics and interaction with the players (who at the same time also needs to be calculated and mapped exactly on other players' consoles/machines), so it tends to overload and crash the system... BUT that does not rule out single player use, and not to mention the system wasn't designed to handle that many tugs at once back in GTA IV. I'd assume Rockstar would've streamlined the operation of the yacht by now, or at least take it off multiplayer. Probably it's not a spawnable object either (like cars or peds), sort of like how the train works in RDR. Lets return to a little more on-topic material. @AtomicPunk: i dont think a yacht that is more than 100 ft long has a trailer that could be towed by anything; and if it did, and we could tow it, it would be unlikely that the yacht could even fit on two lanes on a highway due to its width.
