I'm proving that it's the same yacht converted from Max Payne 3. The opened decks will be accessible as you can see judging by the Michael's trailer. I think it'll function where you set a waypoint like you said later in the OP, and while it's moveing you just walk arround the decks maybe go for a dive, pour a drink, whach TV, get in the Helicopter and whatever else. Though it could very well be driveable, I just hope we have the option to have a crew or something to pilot it for us while we relax, because I don't know about you people but driving a Yacht at half the speed of smell isn't something I find entertaining. Where as I'd find being on my mobile apartment that can drop Jetskis, Speed Boats, and Minisubs with a Helicopter on top entertaining. If you cant drive it will it have all the inside rooms? Or is it a heist location - Maybe she is friends with a rich group of guys who use the daughter and Michael gets his revenge by stealing there cash from in the boat? Looking forward to it, especially if it has the same interior as MP3. But I doubt all those rooms and even a kitchen would be in the V yacht. Also I don't see why would a bigger vehicle make the game lag, it's just a bigger model nothing else. Well, in GTA, one of the modding problems regarding boats was the dimensions. Seems that after a certain size when the model crashes with things the game starts lagging (that's what I've heard), and the same happens with big size models. Since the possibility of hiring a crew is in the game, I think it's possible that we could hire (or fire) not only a crew for the yacht, but also the employees of those companies which we'll own. And that would be sad If we can pilot blimps I see no reason not to drive yachts. At first I didn't believe that this blip could be a pilotable aircraft. I just thoght, it's a decoration like the blimp in Vice City or those big planes in IV. And now we get a confirmation of the blimp being a pilotable vehicle! So there is also a chance for the yacht being also a controlable watercraft. We have not enough information about the GTA V's version of the yacht at the moment. But I hope that we'll get some new info about the yacht before game's release. You surely remember the yacht from TBoGT. It could be a vehicle, but instead it was just a map object. We already had the blimp, which was unlikely to be flyable. Turned out it is. If you'll notice a new screenshot or a new footage of this yacht in GTA V earlier than I'll do this, feel free to post it here! I'll add it to the main post later giving you a credit for this If we'll find out that the yacht is not a vehicle, well, that's not a disaster. I mean, there will be so many things in game that the fact of this yacht being not moveable will be just a small disadvantage in comparison to all other advantages of the game. Big, slow, not fun to sail to most people (But still very fun to many). It could be very similar. GTA V has the most vehicles in any GTA game, so I'm guessing it will be operable, just not exactly fast or 'fun'. If it is clear R* have carried over and/or tweeked the same model for this yacht to GTAV then maybe there is some truth to some of the other vehicles being models for it also. interesting stuff. Do you remember the Campfire Savefunction from RDR? That is exactly the function R* will use for the Yacht (only on the water;). U will have the option to anchor every where u like or dock the yacht in the Marina. The mini sub will be acessable - as you told- from the yacht. Roman Abramovich's Yacht got also a mini sub on board... it very likely that R* adept that feature. As you told too, the sub is very very slow, so starting at a harbour makes no sense.
