However, one sentence cought my attention. Grand Theft Auto V ziet er gedateerd uit. Met de nieuwe generatie consoles op de stoep, valt het nog niet eens zo hard op. Het spel is een beetje zoals het schattige buurmeisje. Ze heeft wel iets, maar een supermodel kan je haar bezwaarlijk noemen. En toch laten die schoonheidsfoutjes je Siberisch koud, want ze laat je hart helemaal op hol slaan, omdat ze je bedwelmt met haar andere kwaliteiten Grand Theft Auto V looks dated. With the new generation of consoles just around the corner, however, it is hard to notice. GTA V is a bit like the cute girl next door. She's got something, but you can't call her a supermodel. But the little errors she has won't bother you, she blows your mind, because she is overwhelming you with all her other qualities. What do you guys think about this? The graphics are not next-gen and not up to date, the AI could most likely also be better on the newer systems due to better hardware. I am totally sharing their opinion. I challenge anyone to play them back to back when V drops and not notice the superior graphics of V. Only on this forum do they let blind people post! Andreas Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) GTAV actually looks pretty good considering that it runs on the same hardware as GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption did while the scale of it is more massive. The graphics aren't absolutely mind-blowing but more is not possible with 7-8 years old hardware. The game is not about the graphics anyways so I have no idea how it really matters. The gameplay and replay-value will be great and I'm sure that I will have countless hours of fun with that game, even if it doesn't have next-gen graphics. The best games release at the end of the console cycle. And yeah RDR has less stuff but 3 years into newer technology they should be able to have a huge map with loads of stuff AND at least RDR graphics, even if the graphics are like GTA 4 as long as the game isnt really bleak and aliased and wierd saturation then it's fine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hell it looked far worse than FFX which came out around 2 and a half years earlier!
