The Notorious MOB Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 I pre-ordered the CE in my local store yesterday and the fella said they had only two left (including mine) not sure wether that was just that store or the whole of Ireland but judging by it being out of stock on the website I presume it was everywhere. Or do you just have to put down a 5er I had paid the full price of the standard edition by trading in games and didn't have to pay any extra for upgrading to the Collector's Edition. No not necessarily, every store gets their own separate amount of Collector's editions not relying on the website, so for example i pre ordered the collector's edition for PS3 and the special edition for Xbox 360 (YES i'm getting the game on both systems for online purposes), each store had a certain amount of Collector's editions they could sell so for the store i went to they could sell 4 collector's edition for each system so 8 in total. Honestly i'd call up your local store as they might have one or two left depending on that store's popularity. If you just want the Special edition well they are less limited so you have more time. Yeah similar situation for me as my store was only getting four Collector's edition's for each system, i got my CE on PS3 and went for the Special edition on Xbox 360 as i want the game on both console's for multiplayer, but obviously at 150 euro for the CE i couldn't really afford to get it for both LOL, but the interesting thing was three copies of the CE had already being pre ordered for Xbox 360 and i was the first to pre order for PS3 although i doubt the last however considering that was about an hour and a half since the Collector's editions had being announced on the website, that was f*cking quick. I also just got the last CE in Douglas, Cork. anyone pre ordering the CE there's a 20 euro minimum deposit. Yes you will get the blimp, the posters will probably be all gone by the time of release but if you wanted to you could go to gamestop with your pre order receipt today or this week and get one of the posters. Cheers for the answer man. I also have to find out if I can transfer said pre-order from the Ballincollig store to my new local Midleton store. I just keep forgetting to call in to them. BTW, not to go off topic, but how many of my fellow Irish forumers are Xbox 360 users? I ask, because I probably won't buy a Live pass till I've played the majority of the singleplayer, which will take quite a while considering at the moment I don't play for much more than 3 to 4 hours a week, so pplaying GTA V for much more will be a challenge. Various reasons of course. Anyway, to the point: It would be nice to have fellow Irish players on Xbox Live to share a multiplayer game with, so if anyone fancies it, let me know and we can sort something out.
