uradeadman Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Euphoria Engine was a big addition to the GTA universe, giving the world a much more better sense of realism. But i post this topic because i wanted to know if any of the previews have talked about how the Euphoria engine is better now? I really enjoyed shooting pedestrians in the leg in GTA 4 and seeing how their body reacted realistically to the shot, I was hopin in GTA 5 that when i shoot a pedestrian in both his legs that he would be crippled but would still try to get away by crawling on the floor and then i can shoot his arm and slowly kills him cause to me that would mark progress to what they started in GTA 4. maybe its just my dark twisted gta fantasy lol. GlitzyTomb Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Well RDR handled that better than GTAIV (albeit without cars) and Max Payne 3 handled that kind of thing pretty well too. In RDR people would limp after being shot in the leg, even limping away if you let them. Max Payne 3 had great animations for slaughtered baddies. If GTAV builds on that it should be a decent improvement. Hopefully they treat bailing from speeding vehicles a bit better. Got kind of ridiculous at times watching Niko skip along the ground. I mostly just enjoyed running people over, or better yet letting my cars arse swing out around a turn and knock someone over with it. Glorious.
