If I had to choose BF4, though when I feel like I need to relieve my adrenaline fix, I go with COD.

COD is more of your fast-paced FPS, while BF focuses more on strategy, teamwork and overall performance.

 

COD = Weapon, Perk, Run n Gun

BF = Plan, Attack, Capture, Defend, Repair, Heal, Destruct .. all while larger maps, teamwork (yes, teamwork) and soft execution.

 

There's no wway to compare the two. If you're more for COD, then of course you'll vote that way.. but BF shouldn't be compared to COD. That's like comparing NFS to Gran Turismo.

I started out as a CoD player but in the last two years I've fluxed over to BF. I played MW3 and BO2, didn't like either. I had BF3 played a little but not a lot. In the last year I have been playing tons of BF. It's a true FPS with ties of strategy and logical thinking you actually acquire in the military unlike CoD where you run and gun like an old 90s shooting gallery.

Ghosts, despite the engine not being brand new. I only buy CoD's for the story and then I delete them.

 

Might pick up BF4 too, sometime after that.

Ghost for me hands down. Not a Battlefield fan in any way.

As people have said Call Of Duty id more fast paced and action based, its easy to just put it on and have some fun.

I'm seeing this unfortunately. BF4 looks awesome, but i thought it would be a bigger step up from BF3. I'm still having fun with 3 and i see it having great longevity even on consoles, so 4 will have to wait until i can afford a gaming pc.

 

Still i'll wait until E3 too see if they've actually improved the MP. I really hope it doesn't take the CoD route (casualized bs).

TBH, COD is very arcadey compared to BF.

COD is just for casual gamers.

But, I might like the story, so I'll give it a try.

The fact that it's arcadey is NO excuse, they haven't improved the game at all in anyway since the release of COD4.

 

And now next gen consoles are out and the game looks just as sh*t as it always did, total fail.

MW3 will be the last COD I've played. I think Ghost will be another time and money wasting game. The sounds don't sound realistic and it doesn't even sound pleasant to the ears.

I've fired a lot of guns and the sounds fade away fast on open areas, unlike in COD where the sound density never changed. I might just go for BF4 next year.

 

Infinity Ward talked bullcrap about COD. Not even price pushed next-gen consoles' limit, cause if it did, then why does COD run at 60fps?

The "dirt and wounds on characters' hands" was bullcrap as well. It's just a texture FFS, and it wasn't even engine-generated.

Those who believe in the "COD improvements" crap are gullible idiots.

The only reason why people play COD is for the story, I think.

Treyarch is better than Infinity Ward hands down on story and that's what I play CoD for. BF3's single player was a let down but hopefully that will change.

I play for Multiplayer more than the Campaign. I always do the campaign twice, one on regular then again on veteran. But its Multiplayer that makes me even buy the game.
