I'm on a working summer vacation (San Diego, Tahoe, Las Vegas and Miami for a month a pop)

 

I forgot to pack my xbox for this trip and was just going to buy a new one, but then I heard the next gen was coming out so I decided to bear it out and spend this vacation w/o a console. If I get a video game itch I play some minesweeper on the work laptop, get frustrated after a few minutes and either get back to work or find something else to occupy my time.

 

I honestly doubt I'll play GTA IV much in September, it's better if I get my work done for the month early on so I can get the maximum amount of time in on GTA V the second half of the month (even then I'll be lucky to get 3-5 hours in a week). Ah the joys of having a career.

Have you considered The Last of Us, since you like zombies? It's been looking like goty contender so far.

 

Anyway, I'm gonna be going through my Steam to play the games I've bought but haven't properly played... darksiders 1 & 2, company of heroes, saints row 3, just cause 2, far cry 2, metro, red faction, alan wake 1 & 2, and some others I can't remember right now. Then playing the ps3 games I also haven't properly played: prince of persia 4, jak hd collection, r&c tools of destruction, gow saga, borderlands 1 & 2, bioshock 1 2 and 3, sly cooper hd collection, dust 1482 or something, soul calibur iv & v, uncharted 2 & 3, heavenly sword, mgs peace walker, and finally The Last of Us. I haven't touched my systems in months lol

Ok, so before I looked at this thread, I thought the Last of Us was coming out 14th of July. Such a pleasant surprise to find out it's June 14th instead.

 

I recently beat RDR and now I'm playing through IV/Episodes again to get me really pumped. Depending on how I feel after finishing those, I'll either replay the portable GTA's (I did Vice City and III not so long ago, so I may just purchase the Stories games on PSN or something) or the other current-gen Rockstar titles like MP3 and LA Noire... or maybe all of them. I don't know if I'll have time. I think you will find that June and July will fly by, and all of a sudden we'll be less than two months away.

Actuallyy its being released on june 17, a friday which is somewhat uncommon for a game release

Everywhere I have looked has it listed for the 14th.

bioshock infinite dlcs( bought the season pass), NFS shift 2, BF3, CODBO2, TF2, Gmod, GRID 2, TDU2, trials evolution, DMC, 40K space marine, GRID, remember me, shadowrun returns, payday 2, deadpool, south park the stick of truth( hopefully it comes out before gta V PC), watch dogs, ARMA 3, splinter cell blacklist, saints row 4, MGSR, amnesia 2, battlefield 4, new xcom game, thief 4 ( hopefully it doesnt get cancelled), COD ghosts, some indie games like monaco, quadrilateral cowboy, rise of the triad, state of decay and some mods like GMOD tower and trouble in terrorist town.

 

i plan to buy/ pre order every single game in that list if i don't own it already

Bought Sleeping Dogs last week and just finished it. Also finished Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider recently..

 

Now waiting for the new Assassins Creed, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, Batman, Dragon Age 3.... Still a long wait until GTAV pc release

June is booked for The Last Of Us, and the utterly amazing Shadowrun Returns (I'm actually more excited about this game than Last Of Us). I doubt I'll play heavily in July/August but I got a big back catalog if I feel the urge to play something.
