It's likely the DLC will come with codes that you redeem. A small file will then download to your Xbox 360 allowing allowing you access to the DLC. I ordered the collectors edition today but I think it will be a while before they release it on next gen and I hope Rockstar take your point into consideration. I'm also basing my theory on the Red Dead Redemption DLC and various other DLC I have downloaded where a small file downloads to your Xbox. Thats why im not buying it im waiting until next gen Me too, except I am getting PC version, which will likely coincide with the expanded nexgen release. Nexgen release will probably be the complete edition, as the pc version also. makes perfect sense "hey, let's continue plans to release on current gen 2013, and when we drop the PC version, we can drop the next gen one as well ,with all the bells and whistles in both" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Like if you bought a PS3 Collector's Edition and a regular Xbox version. My ticket status states "This request is currently being processed by our staff". I could see it as transferable if it was associated with your Social Club account. Activation codes could be used and sold if they had multiple uses. I could also see your Xbox Live or PSN downloads being available on next gen as long as the game was. It's all speculation but I will certainly post back the response to my ticket if I ever get one.
