Rockstar just recently revealed that for whoever pre order the game early will get exclusive access to fly the blimp we've all seen in the trailers. SO? what will It feel like to actually get into this thing and fly it I mean we have experienced what it is like to fly a plane but we have never flown a blimp before in any game. so what to discuss ? Getting the Blimp : When playing the game how exactly will we come about getting the blimp will it be a case of going to the top a skyscraper and boarding it or will it be parked in the drive ? my thought is it will most likely end up at the airport and the player will be able to board it there. Imagine having a cheat that spawns a blimp Wow. Animations : Ok so for example if you crash into the blimp will it simply explode into a ball of fire like gta san Andrea's did with the planes or will we actually see the blimp deflating ? Possible mission use : I find it extremely unlikely that rockstar put in a blimp for us not to use it at all during a in game mission imagine robbing a bank and then boarding a BLIMP epic (probably be a bit slow on the getaway side) what are your thoughts ? Customization : Since Rockstar announced they were bringing back car customization to gta 5 I wonder if they will really push the boat out and let us customize Planes or the BLIMP I mean I understand not adding a spoiler to a blimp but if we could just change the speed and colour of the plane/blimp that would be fantastic (or maybe even import are own images onto the Blimp ) Ok so I given you guys some ideas on what to discuss about but more importantly I want to here what you guys think one more thing what will the blimp fly like more like a plane or a helicopter? Here is little video... Oh man, what a great game was Just Cause 2. I hope the series returns on next-gen. OT: I think flying the blimp will feel a lot like flying a helicopter. ALSO: When I bought Black Ops 2, it was a week after release and it still had the pre-order code for the Nuketown 2023, or whatever year, map. I think (as sad as it is) CoD has a bigger audience than GTA so you'll be safe just purchasing this game within the first few weeks and getting the blimp. vince91 Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 reminds me of controlling the hot air balloon in just cause 2... keep walking into the side of the basket into the direction you want it to go... i never really understood the exitement about the blimp actually... even if you can fly it, these things are painfully slow.. making it bulletproof will make it seem unfinished in a 'most ambitious game yet' but on the other hand if you are wanted even the worst AI can hit that huge gass filled target above your head.. i expect many will only use it once and lose interest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
