I personally would like them to try and pull you over for speeding and other minor crimes. But if the crime is small you don't go to jail, you have the option to pay the fine, or even go to court and try and get out of the fine. Another thing I'd like to see is if the rumors about the cops searching for you up to three in game days, during those three days there are random police checkpoints looking for which ever character committed the crime. The only thing I want is for other NPC being chased by police more.... like car chases that don't actually involve you. I want a more active world in which you're not the only criminal roaming it. 123robot Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 Yeah, I'm not too fond of the idea of police chasing me for every minor speeding problem and running red lights and all that, would just be way too annoying since they would basically be chasing you all the time, it's what GTA's all about, not many people just drive like a normal person. I kind of like the idea of fines and not being able to do certain things like missions with a wanted level, that's an alright idea. Personally, I think most of what I want changed about the cops has already been announced like the police actually using strategies and not automatically knowing exactly where you are in the middle of nowhere unless there's a helicopter. Maybe if they had more realistic behaviour while not chasing you but otherwise I'm already pretty happy with how the system works as it is. If your below they should try and arrest you instead, maybe even be able to bribe the cop. In other GTA's you crash into a cops car and then they try and kill you. If they cant see you I dont want them runiing to my location, if I'm hiding behind a wall I dont want them seeing me, think Mafia 2. I want them to have tazors and advanced cars like that Buffalo in GTA 4 multiplayer. I want tickets for doing minor stuff instead of getting arrested or shot at for speeding and sh*t like that. I think there's a good opportunity for something like this especially with it being set in CA.. cops will pull back if the perp is speeding through a residential area...good chance to ditch the car and run through some back yards and jack a different one... the other thing too, getting a star just from bumping into them in IV was extremely annoying Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
