AuSsIeThUnDeR36
Because it's such a large playing area, I think that 1 min ingame should equal 5 secs real time. If it's not already the case, I think it should at least be in the options menu so we can adjust how long a minute is. Maybe make it a selection from 1 second to 10 seconds. If I'm not completely wrong, IV's 1 minute was 3 real seconds.
98 in 1
In GTA IV it was 2 irl seconds per in-game minute. I'm thinking something along the lines of 3 or 4 seconds would suffice this time around considering the supposed size of the map. Remember: 1 second irl=1 in-game minute=24 minute long days 2 seconds irl=1 in-game minute=48 minute long days 3 seconds irl=1 in-game minute=72 minute long days 4 seconds irl=1 in-game minute=96 minute long days etc... Freezer89
5 seconsd would be too long..perfect is 3 reallife seconds per ingame minute. So 72 minute long days (thanks @mrplow) sounds good. And no, please not as a option. It's not like the speedometer or other small stuff you can change, disable etc.
ChronoStinger
Ideally R* should put "hardcore realism/challenge" mode in the game for people preferring it, that would feature all the stuff, that people mentioned all the time (like refueling cars, realistic vehicle damage, weapon carry limit and such...) and in addition add some other adjustable options that would let us choose how much gore/blood it will be in the game, how time will be adjusted and other stuff! But realistically R* wouldn't bother (likely) with all of this and just rather go with their standard formula and release a game as it is...
