John The Grudge
I purchased this on XBLA yesterday as I'm a big fan of the first two Call Of Juarez games. I haven't completed it yet but I thought it deserved a thread because it's a great game. So far it's one of the most fun first person shooters I've played in a while. The shooting is very satisfying. The colours are a little too in your face at times for my tatste but generally it's a nice looking game. It's definitely worth the asking price. I think people considering buying Blood Dragon should seriously consider checking this out first. The Gamespot review sums it up well:
GunWrath
Haven't had the chance or points to purchase this one. I'm looking forward to it though! Cartel nearly ruined the game for me. My fav so far was Bound in Blood.
John The Grudge
I'm really hoping this sells well enough to make a full blown sequel to Bound In Blood a sure thing. I think The Cartel and maybe less than stellar sales of BIB cast some doubt on the series' future.

You should definitely try Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood. It'll be really cheap now and it's one of the best first person shooters of the generation. Creed Bratton
Is that cell shading? I didn't know it was cell shaded. I don't mind it, I just find it odd. I'll probably get it somewhere down the line. I love western shooters. And arcade shooters. And this is both. And I keep hoping that one day Ubisoft will wake up and make a Far Cry game set in the Old West. It has a more realistic colour palette than that, except slightly over exposed and saturated looking. It works for the style of game it is, with it's short, fast and loud stages. The colours and brightness are occasionally a little too in your face though. Nice call on an Old West Far Cry by the way. That would be brilliant.
