Console players to get shafted

When R* release GTA5 on the PC there is no reason to limit players from flying the blimp, stunt plane trials, bonus outfits, etc. because it will be released months after these console specials have been sold and R* has already made a ton of profit from. I think R* know better and if they didn't include these things, modders would be able to add them into the game anyway, including flying the blimp. There's just no way PC players are going to get limited from doing certain things in the game because for one, it would make R* look foolish when a week after release, a modder has made it possible for PC players to fly the blimp anyway.

 

The annoying thing is we are missing out on actual collectables like the huge map, artwork, bags and a cap but I am hoping they also release a special edition just for the PC players especially as we have to wait even longer for the game.

That's like saying that normal consumers are getting shafted as compared to thieves who just steal what they need.

If they allow you to fly the blimp for pre-ordering the PC version then I guess it is theft if modders make it available for free. But if they completely remove the feature from the PC version then I don't see why it is a problem as it was technically never part of the game at all and mods aren't illegal. There could be slight variations as well so it would be perfectly okay.

It's called 'Modding' and its not illegal if the company allows it and Rockstar generally approves of modding their content. Also please don't start the PC steal more than consoles or Consoles steal more than PC argument, it's not going to end well. This thread is just going to start more flame wars so please refrain from trying to post this kind of stuff, it just makes the quality of the forum decrease.

Yeah, console gamers got shafted with RDR when R* didn't allow players to drive that car. PC gamers could just mod the game and...

 

As a PC gamer, I hope R* releases GTA V for PC so I can have fun with mods and better visuals, but we really don't know if R* is releasing it.

Making pre-order DLC availible for free by modding it into the game is stealing. Modding itself is not illegal no, but what you mod could potentially be highly illegal. For instance using assets from another game in a GTA game, or in this case unlicensed content.
