JB94
Those guys are mugging you off I'm going to go game £120. I went Shopto £118.98 You're still getting bumped; the U.S. pay the equivalent of £99.  And they pay the equivalent of £53 for the Special Edition, whilst we're getting a £65 price tag.

I went Shopto £118.98 Lol I thought it was £150 must just be Zavvi.  BTW I think they release the game early I heard they do. Yep just Zavvi, Both Game & Shopto are retailing it at £119.99. I get mine a bit cheaper cause I'm using my loyalty points. Good ol' Shopto I just ordered the Collecters edition from Game £20 deposit. I'm going to collect from the store. ProTrainFollower
Can anyone find the special edition on Shopto? It seems they aren't selling it for some unknown reason which is a shame because I had some points and they're the best in the UK for pre-orders. The Special Edition is exclusive to GAME (and Rockstar Warehouse). Â Any other retailer will only have the Standard and Collector's Edition. Â I'd pre order from GAME but I don't know if it will arrive on the 17th September. I'll stick to the Standard Edition. I think I'll go with the special edition at game and take the risk. Â Thing is if I get cold feet I imagine I could always count on shopto with only a weeks notice.
Backfire6
Outrageous unrealistic prices. I can buy 40 used RPGs for that price that I have not played yet. In fact maybe 60 used games for that price. Or other things that cost over 100 dollars I know that are USEFUL on a every day scale. OR you can wait about 2 years and get this on amazon lol...should be easy to find by then pretty cheap. Kirsty
I've never ordered from GAME online but I think they take your money when you order. They only take the money when they dispatch the game, at least that's my experience. But they obviously would take it out if it's a deposit. Wheatley
I've had trouble before ordering from Games online store. I ordered a collectors edition of a game released in 2011 and they sent me the Xbox 360 version instead of the PC version. They replaced it but they sent me a opened one (but the game wasn't installed yet) as some of the contents were not in their wrapping but I was fine with that.  I'll be getting mine from the shop itself instead because 9 times out of 10 they'll have it there apart from that time when Dead Island was released and they didn't have even enough stock to do the Pre-Orders so I had to do a wild goose chase around my city to get a copy. Not one GAME shop where I lived (there was about 4 I think at the time) had the game, and I was lucky enough for a BlockBuster to carry the only remaining copy.  One thing to keep in mind though is to never order from Tesco Entertainment. I put up a thread shortly before Max Payne 3's release complaining how they cancelled my order a week before the game was supposed to come out telling me there was a problem shipping it and instead said the game would arrive in an estimate of 6 weeks. I couldn't take that so I cancelled the order and instead ordered from GameStop UK's site and they gave me free Next Day Delivery for a bargain of £64.99 instead of £99.99 the game was supposed to sell for.  The great thing was Tesco still emailed me my Pre-Order Pack and I used it even though I didn't even go through with the order fully so I had two Pre-Order packs to redeem.  -Wheatley

wanderer89
There's a code to use when you buy online, and I used all the clubcard points I have to get it that price, no idea how many you have.
DrewyR
ShopTo have a good history of sending games early and customers receiving it a day prior to release. (It's the reason they are not stocking Call of Duty this year because Activision have told them not to) but they are not getting anymore CE in-stock. blakeney
I have a question which retail store is most likely to deliver my game early I wouldn't trust any, there is no order system, i pre-ordered 2 Iv's one from Play.com one from Amazon, neither turned up within a week, and i had pre ordered the day it was possible..... one of my cousins on the other hand, pre ordered it like a week before and got his fine.... Â If you are happy being involved in some sick lottery where if you loose you don't get your mitts on GTAV (especially seeing as you wont be able to walk into stores for a few days and buy it), i wouldn't bother at all... Midnight launch is only safe way... that and a bit of making sure your not at the back of that que!
DrewyR
I have a question which retail store is most likely to deliver my game early ShopTo. Â Read around on the internet and you'll see that they are known for getting games to the customers a day or two before the release. It's why they are refusing to stock Activision titles because they told them not to. Â Only downside - They have sold out on the Collectors edition and it is unlikely that they are going to get more instock.

SuperDuperGta
I'm surprised to see how many people order online. I go to the midnight launch. For FIFA 13 I went to Game and there was a huuuge queue. I went round the corner to Asda and there was no queue and I got a preorder version. Â Could this likely be the same scenario again? or would I make sure to use R* preferred place like Sainsburys or blockbuster. (I want that blimp) Â OR Â Do I take the risk and buy with Shopto for the chance I could get it a day early..
wwinterj
 I'm surprised to see how many people order online. Online is more easy for me. Less hassle. By the time I wake up the post has come and there will be my game rather than walk into a shop and have some jailbait kid try to sell me a pre order on COD when all I want is my bloody game. Yea, I meant for standard, I got a sneaky suspicion that all that content is in the game but just needs unlocking through missions etc. rather then being exclusive.  I could never justify spending £20 more just for a flame shirt for trevor
