macca82 Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 First of all, it IS a free country and anyone is free to pass judgment and feedback, but I am quite disappointed with some forum members and their lack of trust in rockstar. This is the same company that ALWAYS provide quality for their games and ensure you get a full experience (particularly with GTA games). I must stress that all doubts of the map size and new features shouldn't overshadow what WILL be a great game. We all know that rockstar would never reveal the full nature of their GTA games until you experience it for yourself. Based on what I have seen, I have no doubt V will triumph. Idk about IV. No one's doubting GTAV as a whole. The crisis just seems to be the mass lowering of standards as many people were expecting more square mileage in the early days of the V hype. I agree to an extent that voicing our opinions/concerns aids developers with improving games. I think some is a little unhealthy and heaps too much expectation. I think for me there will be a point where I will stop looking around for research on what's in the game / not in the game because I do believe there is a point (for me anyway) where it spoils the magic of experiencing something. For now though, I think rockstar have done a great job at holding a lot back. But on topic, I don't think people are necessarily questioning their ability to make a really awesome game, at least i'm not, it's just the principle of the whole DLC stuff. Hell, I would love to have all the stuff in the CE(except the physical crap, I don't like useless merchandise cluttering my house) but I cant buy it without all the other crap, and that would put me in the hole $60(I'm using the SE price as a gauge, honestly, there's no reason any DLC should cost over $100 IMO) over budget give or take. You cant make a thread without having people calling you a fa**ot. Go back in forum history in early san andreas and vice city times, alot more civil. I jus suggest to all normal people too stay away from this forum. And about collectors and Special editions,yes they could have been better ,at least they could have included OST and more physical stuff than powwer ups and exclusive in game content,that's not cool.
