Lelouch The Zero
Perhaps a Max Payne game in the Old West, or desert? I like the idea if it's true.

Lelouch The Zero
Oh it's a movie. Forget it then. Will probably suck anyways.
Liberty2k7
Perhaps we may get a 'real' Max Payne film rather than that one with Mark Wahlberg as Max *shudders* Still, IMDB is about as reliable as Ol' Jimmy down the pub Edit: Damn forget it I just watched that trailer. Not even worth throwing hot piss on that director if he was on fire. Edit 2: OK so maybe that was harsh. Still, definitely going to avoid that film, probably when someone tries to sell me it from an overcoat on a street corner. Kirsty
A Max Payne independent film, haha, interesting name! They even have James McCaffrey as 'the voice' The story of "Payne & Redemption" surrounds the psychological trauma endured by the film's main character, a weathered New York Detective, and his journey to seek redemption, after having to deal with a long line of traumatic incidents that have occurred in his recent life. http://www.payneandredemption.com/ Moved to Movies & TV chat
brian.
It's taking a very long time to come out, considering this teaser is from 2007: Who knows if any of those people are still involved etc, but it's basically a film adaptation of the events after fall of max payne probably. AceRay
Also guys/gals, don't be cruel to that guy... independent filmmakers get it really tough and they don't do it for the money; they do it for the love of it. Yeah, seriously, I thought this thing was bumming around since 2005 or something, give it a break. Looks epic.
Creed Bratton
This sounds like fun. An independent Max Payne movie starring the actual Max Payne if probably more true to the source material than that piece of crap with Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. Mister Pink
Looks absolutely atrocious. Really, did they go there and use a cheesy voice over guy like that? Are they stuck in the 90's or something? EDIT: What also worries me is, that this gentleman has his name down as writer, cinematographer, costume designer and many more roles. ClaudeSpeed1911
The thing that I didn't like is the music in the trailer but it might be better than the old abomination film that was made few years ago.

You don't need millions of dollars to make a good film (Napoleon Dynamite was made for less than half a million). Also, choosing a cheesy voiceover guy isn't a budgetary choice, it's an aesthetic choice and a very cringeworthy one at that.
