No, stop complaining. It seems whatever they do, someone has to complain about something.

I'm gonna complain about their marketing. Not the game. The game should be 100% of what you pay for. Not broken into parts that you need to pay extra just to access certain things. That's f*cking retarded.

I don't see how like 3 vehicles and some extra clothes really make that big of a difference. Maybe the guns, sure, but most of these are just minor add-ons, and it doesn't really matter. Considering the amount of work put into this game, they deserve all the money they get, and i'm definitely pre-ordering the special edition. Also, games have been doing this for quite a while now, and i'm pretty sure nothing is going to change. Hell, it's probably going to get worse as time goes on.

These add-ons should be for the game. They took it out so people will buy the Special edition. The regular edition isn't 100%. You can't defend this in anyway.

Not everyone is required to be as outraged as you, so stop. These are incredibly minor additions in a game as big as GTA V and doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm not "defending" it. I simply don't care.

But if you really are offended, don't just bitch and moan on forums. Vote with your wallet and don't buy the game.

So you're not mad that they took out content that should be in the game and are only getting 90% or so of GTA V. Why would I vote with my wallets. That won't make a difference. There is going to be millions that buy the game and if one doesn't they don't care.

Not at all. I could not care less about dressing my character up (my GTA characters have always looked the same throughout the entire game) and the other stuff will be obtainable in game. I don't need a car garage and special weapons as soon as I boot up the game. There will be plenty of both as I progress through the story.

I mean do people really think the only way we'll be able to have a garage for cars is the collectir's edition? Seriously? All this stuff means is that you'll get it quicker.

What a stupid thread. You do realise that you will STILL get to fly the blimp and get tattoo's in the game and more OBVIOUSLY, the clothing is already in the game.

Maybe down the road as a DLC. But you need that DLC in order to do it. If you can still do it then that's false advertisement and they could get sued.

This is all ADDITIONAL content. The blimp might be a skin or another blimp. Ink, cloths, garages and so on are all in the game this just gives you that little bit more. Nobody is going to be missing out on anything and if you wish for this added bonus stuff then pay for them in these editions or down the road when on the marketplace/PSN.

It's not ADDITIONAL. Its content that suppose to be in the game but was took out for Rockstar to get more cash. This takes away from whats suppose to be in the game. Don't be a brainwashed idiot like most gamers today. Use your head and figure out that we are not getting 100% of the game with the regular edition.

Everything below digital content.

Okay, so you're missing a few airplane missions and some character clothes/tattoos. Oh, and you want your game to be easier by having 25% faster regenerating special abilities, access to special cars early, and early, free weapons. That should all be in the base game, that way you don't need to work hard for any of it. Right?

You do realise that they made it so you require those things. Originally you could access all of this as if you payed. They just made it harder to do, with the purchasable "cheat" for real cash.

In other words: You got scammed, son.

Lets use common sense shall we? The game isn't out yet. They're already talking about DLC that COULD OF BEEN IN THE GAME. This is why I say it was taken out of the game for a quick buck. A really dirty business move by Rockstar.

They didn't take anything out.

Again I ask, do people really think you won't be able to store cars in a garage? Or that a melee hammer won't be ANYWHERE in the game? A simple hammer?

You guys need to take a deep breath and think rationally for two seconds about this. All of this is just giving it to you right off the bat as a bonus. They are not holding back content.

I don't give two sh*ts about regeneration bonuses. I care about that hotrod, sports bike and the clothing.

If you think that working hard is giving R* 150 quid you have a serious problem.

After you take a deep breath, think about this logically for two seconds. This is Grand Theft Auto. Think back to all the previous games. 1) I never said paying money is working harder for it. I said just giving it to us is NOT working hard for it. That was my point.

2) If you read what they said, it doesn't say you get the EXCLUSIVE Hotknife, or anything of the sort. It says the garage has the Hotknife inside it. This kinda reads as you get the car at the beginning, not you get it only by buying this edition.

Lets look at Red Dead Redemption.

Assassin Outfit ( Only get at game stop if preorder ) - Sure there is other outfits but this one benefits you.

War Horse ( Only get at best buy if preorder ) - Best horse in the game. Sure there other horses but not as good as this.

Gold Guns ( Only get a Amazon if preorder ) This one rasie your fame faster ( Worst one out of the three )

With the first two they add to the game. So they took it out. Sure you can wear different outfits or go on horse but you can't use those. GTA V is doing the same as how Red Dead Redemption did theres.

But there was no precedent for what could be in a Red Dead game. Here there is.

This is Grand Theft Auto. There will be dozens of car garages for you to use. Weapons like the melee hammer and those vehicles will absolutely be in the game. I'd bet my house on it. It makes zero sense to assume they won't be.

Why do you think the stores will have those additional weapons for free instead of charging? Their mere presence is NOT the bonus, it's the ease of access that is the bonus. Getting them for free and at the beginning of the game. Without the CE you'll simply have to unlock them at a certain point in the story and buy them.

I mean seriously, a melee hammer? That's the simplest thing ever. Vice City had a hammer 10 years ago. That stuff is not being taken out of the game.

Its only you people on the forum that tell that this stuff was ''supposed'' to be in the game.

I'd like to point out to you that Red Dead released all of those DLCs (except Golden Guns) on their GoTY Edition, so if you want your so called "complete" GTA V, then wait for that.

It's rather sad that we live in a world where we're so used to game companies charging unfairly for necessary content, that we end up confusing when one is giving additional stuff and when they are forcing the player to buy essential stuff. What's worse is we have basically nothing saying the weapons and cars are not in the standard edition, and that we can't get them by working for it. You all are just assuming they are all exclusive and can't be obtained by natural means, and therefore you are all whining about it. I think we all really need to shut up, sit down, and relax. It's all based on assumptions at this point, and you know what they say about assuming. (Except with the airplane missions and the character things, those ARE exclusive, 100% no doubt)

If it's stupid DLC then why do you care if it's in the game?

It's inconsequential side stuff. Nothing to get worked up about.

On top of that, it will be released for free as DLC later on.

That's exactly what they did with Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. The Special Edition DLC is more-so "early access" to free, future DLC.

EDIT: Tony, you're half-correct. They did release it with the GOTY edition, but it was also available on the PSN and Xbox Store for free after a while.

Listening to you guys argue is giving me a MIGRAINE.

redx165 you are the biggest crybaby out of everyone it seems. Or maybe you are just trolling. I dont know. I know for a fact that if you worked for Rockstar and spent the last 5 years of YOUR LIFE tirelessly working/editing/RE-editing/adjusting/designing/imagining non-stop for the greatest game of all time. I know you would not blink twice when they suggested charging for a Special/Collectors Edition.

Sure they are pining for more dough and the collectors edition is WAY over priced, but if anyone (and I mean ANYONE) was more justified in charging for extra in-game content and not receiving whining and complaining because of their already established sterling videogame creation workethic its Rockstar Games. No?

I could understand this type of woman like emotional outburst directed at EA or Ubisoft. But this is Rockstar North they are worth it.

GTAV looks to have perhaps the most content of any single video game of all time. Soo many games cost 60 bucks without a fraction of the content or polish that will be in it. I mean for christ sake theyre charging 60 for Saints Row 4:Glorified DLC.

So dont complain mate, think about giving them the extra money that they have earned and deserve...

Cancel it for what? Everybody should have already known R* was going to pull this nonsense back when they did it with MP3. Wasn't that the whole point of people throwing tandrums back then (because we knew it would happen with V)? I was actually holding my breath for this day hoping that it wouldn't be too much content cut out of the game. Judging from today's info, R* went easy on us non-collectors edition folks (might buy one anyway though). I'm proud of R* for going easy on us.

...and for all of you saying they "added" these features instead of "cutting them", grow up and stop being so damned naive. That's not how this business world works. Software developments companies don't complete an entire game, market it, brand it, etc. and then scramble the whole development team together again just to throw in the code for a few features so they can say "we added it". It's idiotic from a cost perspective. These features were created with the rest of the game and held off for fans willing to surrender the extra $ money for it. That's the proper way to do it; from a business perspective.

I seriously don't see the problem.

What is in the game is in the game. The bonus content is just extra junk that you get as a bonus for getting the Special/Collector's Edition, along with the non-game stuff it comes with. On top of that, the bonus content will be available a few months later for free. This is what they did with Red Dead Redemption, and I assure you they will do the same with GTA V. Quote me on this.

Agreed! The game is at its max in content. Everything else is simply bonus content.

When will everyone understand this?

It's not ADDITIONAL. Its content that suppose to be in the game but was took out for Rockstar to get more cash. This takes away from whats suppose to be in the game. Don't be a brainwashed idiot like most gamers today. Use your head and figure out that we are not getting 100% of the game with the regular edition.

Well yes it is been put aside to sell later as DLC and help these edition become more appealing unless unlocks in the game. Point is however they are not deal breakers to me and if they are to you then buy the game of the year version or wait for a sale and buy the game in a sale and use the money you "saved" to buy the DLC thus making the price of a full game. Point is there is ways around it if you want to go down that route.

On that note, I won't be buying the collector's edition. I'm as big of a GTA fan as the next guy; but I'm not into the whole merch thing. I'm a fan of other products for that stuff.

I had no idea the content would be free down the road.
