R* reaction to Xbox one reveal?

Honestly, i don't give a sh*t about Xbox 1 or PS4. I won't be getting either for another couple years at least. GTA V will keep me well entertained until then. I'd rather pay less for a console that has been completely debugged over years, rather than get one at full price and have to experience all the initial f*ck ups.

 

Not to mention the games to be released on launch aren't even going to be that great. Might as well just not think about it.

Rockstar are working hard since the delay was announce, I mean they added on so much [most likely from complaints and forum posts]. they won't be worrying about next gen ATM. no point really. financially its best to stick to current gen. no doubt that in 1 years time there will be talk of V in next gen or/and PC. But not right now, not when they're about to potentially release one of the most best selling video game.

I would have thought that devs like Rockstar would already have dev kits and probably will have had them for a while. They would have known for months (perhaps even for more than a year) what specs the consoles were. They probably didn't know what it would look like, what they were going to be called or what the marketing was going to be. But they'd have dev hardware, dev software and they'd be working in partnership with MS and Sony to help beta the hardware and the o/s. On top of that they'd be getting some next gen developments on the move, though only in the background. Their first piece of work would probably involve adapting RAGE.
