If the costumer will pay 2.5 more money for a game to get 3extra vehicles, then no wonder they release this sh*t.I keep thinking: I don't want the t-shirt extra's just the ingame extra's. Why not release a version with everything in it for € 10 more. But no, I won't be paying €10 more for a few cars... Moral of the story, R* is screwing us.. But I'm getting mine to support R* so that the future GTA's are good games. I only buy special or collectors editions for R* games. I'm going for the standard edition. 2 reasons: - The only thing I would kinda miss is the blimp thing, but I think R* is going to clarify that one, because it would be highly unlikely that they would cut that feature from the game. - I'm not supporting the business model where the cut stuff, only to let you pay an absurd price to get the 'full' experience. Spending development time on possible DLC and bonus features BEFORE release date, is just pure nonsense and there is no way to justify it: It should have been part of the game on release. So yeah, if you don't like this new model, don't support it. The vanilla game will be insane, and will be worth the 60 euro. Why don't you pre-order? It doesn't matter which version you get, as long as you pre-order, you get the blimp. I seriously don't understand why people are so upset over pre-ordering. Yeah, I got a bit confused there. Ofcourse I'm gonna preorder, I do it with all massive titels. Having the blimp in the standard edition confirms (for me) that I don't need the added things in the special editions. Hardcore fans will do anything to get extra content -- they are fanboys. These people will not miss out on V content/accessories just to preserve ethical business practices. GTAfiveFAN Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 I did not initially like how Rockstar left out features to put in other editions, but the fact that Rockstar even included physical items in their special editions shows that they haven't "sold out" entirely. I personally think it is a nice balance of ingame content and real life items. I've been f*ck in the past by buying a PSP for Liberty City Stories + Xbox for the GTA IV DLCs because of the '' exclusivity ''... A few months later LCS came out on Ps2 & GTA IVs DLC on Ps3 so I spend around 1000$ for no reason. If I'm paying 150$ it's because of the gameplay contents, I don't give a f*ck about a snapback I just want to play a complete GTA V. The day I'll see a promotion on any market to get a classic GTA character online even if you didn't paid for the collector I'll be mad. When I'll be online I want to recognize the fan who paid 150$ to play with CJ, I don't want to see 10 000 CJs all around the map because of a Xbox Live/PSN promotion.
