Are there garages?

This paragraph, under the Collectors' Edition:

"Unique Vehicles and Garage Property: Players will instantly receive a garage to store custom vehicles. In single player, the garage will be stocked with the 1930’s style Hotknife hotrod and the CarbonRS sports bike. In Grand Theft Auto Online, players will get the high-end Khamelion electric car."

 

The 2nd sentence says that players will instantly receive a garage (to store custom vehicles and whatnot).

But does it mean that there still WILL be garages in the Standard or Special editions, but will be unlocked at the start of the game?

It would kinda blow if it was only in CE...

Hmm, I hope so.

I thought it might mean that it will be some kind of DLC (just like EA does with games) and when you get the CE, you wouldn't have to buy it.

I take it to mean that the garage will be available in the standard game, but you'll have to pay for it out of your heist money.

I read it as a purchasable property (that doesn't need to be purchased if you buy the CE), that comes with exclusive cars and bikes.

is the hotknife , carbon bike also in the special edition ? Not instantly from the beginning, but you can use them later in the game when u unlocked them and don´t need the collector´s edition ?

Some people here really get confused at the most simplest of things.

 

The latest previews have said that we can buy and rent properties with garages. But as part of the content for special edition you will get a garage straight away with a few cars in it.

I hope that when you store a vehicle in garage, it will NEVER dissappear from there without your confirmation (=delete). If it gets destroyed you need to pay some $ to repair it and use again. I don't really care for the realism with car storing and garages. One of the things I hated in GTA IV was that you found a cool car and parked it infront of an apartment BUT you couldn't use it freely... Drive to a mission with it = it's gone. Drive into water = it's gone. Get it blow up = it's gone. Ye that is super realistic but I didn't find it fun AT ALL.

 

It seems like multiplayer will have a garage too, I hope it's accessible in Free Mode too! That would be so cool...

Does it mean Garage as in 'Place of Work' - It says you can buy a business - maybe they unlock the first one for you and you can store your own cars there as well.

 

I think the garage at Michaels house will always have the family car in it. We always see him in that car.

We always see each one of them in there own specific car - will they always be there or will we replace them with one we choose.

 

OR - will these vehicles just re spawn all the time outside there homes and not have to be stored at all.

There are garages in the game. Like other's said the collectors edition just gives you one from the start. I've seen it many of times that garages are in the game.

I hope garages will work similarly like they did in Midnight Club LA, but with higher car storige count.
