GTADEV1 Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 See guys i love rockstar games to an extent and i never ever put my hopes down in any of there games at first i only played gta from ps2 and never liked to play any other game i bought a ps3 just to play gta iv but later on because rockstar did not release any other gta i played rdr la noire max payne and i loved them all. and ofcourse i will buy gta v even if it is the crappiest game ever but after a long thinking here is what i concluded:- 1- The 3 characters: At first i thought the idea was good but later i thought that this is an idea which is terrible for a gta to conclude because gta always had 1 theme only and each character is considered alone and has his own story. We all now that rockstar said that they considered gta iv downloadable content a single new game each so does this mean this game is like 3 gta in 1. do you guys think that if gta 3 player and tommy vercetti and cj in one game would it feel nice i think the game will lose all its taste and feel meaningless. i cant anticipate a story that is structured like this in any way. i loved all gta because all had a different taste and amazing story line which you have feelings to the character you are playing but here i think when there is 3 you will lose feeling while playing the game. i think rockstar ran out of idea while doing this game that's why they have put 3 characters. 2- The map after i saw the map today i was not surprised it looks like the city have seen in the pictures and as small as we expected, first of all i think when rockstar said the game was huge it was meant that the mountains are really high big as vertical and structure and depth of the ocean but as in area wise and horizantaly i think it is not as big as we expected it to be. this game is not supposed to be a modern rdr with big countryside and a small city because rdr also had a small city at the corner and towns this is gta it has to have either 1 massive city and when i mean massive it should be atleast as big as la noire map or it should have more cities in the game but what i have saw today the map is disappointing but it is so beautiful like rdr as in mountains planes river and . 3- The Graphics and game development First of all we all new that they started gta v not directly after gta iv remember the interview with the houser in oct/nov 2009 he said that they have to yet wright a script and choose a setting. the game almost started development since like first to half 2010 and second the game looks rushed in trailer 1 the characters looks different and trevor was not there and second if the game was rightly developed and planed they would not had added trevor later in the game and not change michals looks 3-4 month before originally planed release date which was supposed to be in may. 4-Game Content I am happy with the things that are going to be in the game but not giving rockstar credit because it is meant to be in a gta game a gta is an open world game so it has to include in it in all means content like mini games, car and weapon customization and etc. i have saw nothing new so far that makes this game look amazing and shows that it needed delay and all this time to make. Because it is rushed and delayed i wont be surprised that this game wont be as smooth as we expect it to be and will have many bugs. The graphics in the trailer if you look closely is so bad compared with max payne the game looks nit a 2013 game with that terrible graphics.
