You'd only have to update your pre-order if you want the Special or Collector's Edition. From Rockstar about where you can pre-order to get the goodies: Any participating retailer, not just the Rockstar Warehouse. That's exactly what they did with Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. Rockstar aren't the type of company that has special content for only certain people. It's more of a "early access" type thing. Is there a way to upgrade to special edition or something? Back when the release was scheduled for Spring I pre-ordered the game. I'm interested in the Special Edition, does the Warehouse have a way to upgrade my order to the Special Edition and just be charged and extra $20?
