I just don't trust Rockstar with how they revealed info about V during their campaign. You had to be an ass and start an argument on a forum and show how f*cking smart you are. Even though I didn't buy it I like what they did with the HD re-makes of the Revolver characters in Redemption. I'll have to look up the MP 1 and MP2 remakes. Do Rockstar have any legal right to reuse previous Voice Actor quotes/sound effects from previous GTA's? For example, if my multiplayer character is Tommy Vercetti, and I kill someone, will I hear Ray Liotta taunting? TwistedMedia Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Well if I'm not mistaken RDR and Max Payne both gave exclusive pre-order content to everybody who didnt pre-order the game after a while, I imagine Rockstar will try to keep GTA V alive for as long as possible, being that its their last game on current gen. It would be cool for the 'classic characters' to range from other Rockstar games, such as Manhunt, RDR, Max Payne and Bully. And guess what, after a few weeks/month it was all available over PSN/XBL anyway. There's no way this content justifies the price of a second game. That said, I'm dying to see what HD versions of 3D era characters look like. This. I see no reason why we won't see C.J, Tommy and so on. If you are buying these editions just for the in-game items then I advise you to not bother at all and buy the in-game stuff once they are on the PSN/Marketplace. I wonder how Claude sounds when he's provoking anyone. I don't know if it's true, but people's been claiming that they've heard a few grunts from Claude. On top of that point, in the Max Payne 3 special edition, they included a past character pack for multiplayer - which is essentially the exact same thing as this except for a different franchise. You can now buy that character pack on PSN/XBL for $2. So yeah, paying the extra money for the characters is a huge mistake. I can almost guarantee if we do see III era guys, there wouldnt be new voices. All recycled from there respected games.
