I'm going to buy the collector's edition! I've said it before, I'm willing to pay for that. Even if it costs a lot. But since you're from the Netherlands too, how much do you think it's going to cost in euros?

The collector's edition. There was never a doubt in my mind.

I enjoy buying collector editions of my favorite games, and I'm happy with what Rockstar is offering.

 

The pricetag is also fine imo

I'm not usually someone who buys these special edition versions, but this time I'm stumped. Definitely not getting the Collectors Edition, but it's a toss between the Special and the Standard for me.

Standard. I buy the game for the game itself. Though I am disappointed some will get bonus clothes, weapons, cars, and properties just because they spend more.

standard because all stuff in collectors edition(ingame stuff) will come to standard with patch or even day one,so why should i spend more money for some bag and map

Posted this in the other thread but I guess it applies here as well:

 

At first, I was planning on buying the Collector's Edition. But after researching how Rockstar handled DLC for RDR and MP3 (LA Noire was a bit different with cases), it seems Special Edition is the way to go. 20 bucks more for 3 free weapons, new tattoos, new outfits, new stunt plane challenges, a blueprint map and steelbox with artwork seems pretty ok to me. I've def seen a whole lot worse this generation.

 

But paying 70 dollars more (more than the SE that is) for a deposit bag, a cap, 2 cars, a bike and classic GTA skins seems overkill. Esp when you consider that the DLC will be available on the store later on for 5 bucks or so...10 max (all together).

 

I think I'm going with SE. Either way, it's still the first time I ever buy a Special Edition, so I'm excited regardless, just a shame the CE is overpriced, it should've been $100-120 imo.

Id consider getting Collectors Edition due to the garage. There are a few question's that need to be answered though.

1. How many vehicles can be stored in it/or how big is the garage. How about an image of the garage as to some insight because its a blind purchase right now.

2. If a vehicle is being used and it gets stolen/destroyed does it reappear in the garage?

3. What other vehicles are included?

 

I agree with reform it should be in the standard game or at least the special edition.

Steelbook/artwork - A cool little thingy.

 

Blueprint Map - pretty cool. Although it'll aprpear online pretty much right away.

 

Cap - Who cares?

 

Bag & Key - Who cares?

 

Plane Trials - Meh

 

Bonus Clothes/tats - Should all be in the standard game

 

Custom Multiplayer characters - Nice

 

Ability Boost - terribad

 

vehicles + garage - Should be in standard game

 

Bonus Weapons - Should be in sandard game

 

 

 

 

I'm still going to get the collectors edition because I was going to get it anyway, and honestly, I want the extra stuff. I'm compromising my morals to do so but I guess I just don't care enough in order to stand for what I elieve in this time around.

Vehicles and Garages will be in the standard game. Collectors Edition owners will have access to them immediately instead of having to do other in game tasks or whatever.

 

I think it said "additional plane trial" so there might be some in game.

 

The bonus weapons are only made free for the owners of the higher editions, otherwise it costs in game money to buy them at Ammunation

 

OT: Collectors for me. I'll rock that Hat in style too

Can't decide between special & collectors. I really want the cars and the bike + garages, but that price diffrence is quite much just for wanting that.

 

Seems that those cars and the bike is in the game from start we just have to unlock them, so then I will go with special.

Already pre-ordered the standard edition, so at least I'll get the blimp. That said, I'm quite surprised by the poll results. I, for one, will not be supporting R* tactless use of SP content to nickel and dime the consumer. Alas, from the looks of the poll here, things are only going to get worse with VI.
