OPINIONS ON THE COLLECTORS EDITION PACK

They have lost my respect here. I am not going to pay 15$, or 80$. So, I AM GOING TO OWN A f*ckING HALF-ASSED GTAV!

Rockstar, it´s all about the money, is not it? No art book is a true shame. Both editions, special and collectors´s, are considerably worse than IV´s edition. Collector's edition for me. Five years, Rockstar fanboy etc..

What were IV's packs? Never saw them haha.

Lol how am I selfish? I haven't even bought the game yet and no one is restricted from purchasing the other editions The point I want to get across is 1. Micro transactions is a bad thing 2. How special is the special edition when most of it becomes available latter?

After the games launch people are restricted in buying these editions. Yes Micro transitions are a bad thing but R* have already said they are doing smaller DLC this time around so it's inevitable.

 

The editions become what they are due to none in-game items. Plus you get in game items months before anyone else. R* like any business like money and after the game is out the DLC they created for these editions will be sat there doing nothing so it's common sense to make them avaible to everyone at some point to make more money from them. Not only that but then it makes it fair to everyone. I fully expect to see these in-game items on PSN/Marketplace at some point.

I normally do buy collectors editions, most recently I did it with Max Payne 3 so I don't mind paying 50 (or was it 30$) extra on GTA V's collectors edition.

 

I don't mind it and it looks like a few good bonuses to give me a few hours at least of extra play time than I thought.

Anyone think R* are going the Max Payne 3 route with the DLC? Classic Multiplayer Character Packs and the like were in Max Payne 3. I fully expect to see a R* pass and that the DLC will be for the multiplayer after launch. We shall see.

100% the same here man. I WANT that content, but it has me wondering if we can expect that content on the Marketplace/PSN from day one. Cause if so...i can buy that and i won't have payed a big amount such as 150 euros.

I am a little annoyed at it however, i spent enough time waiting for this game to come out, excited as all the rest of you and now they introduce these editions that include more things for an extremely high price at 150$. Because i have bills and other debts to pay off, i cant justify spending that much on a game. feels like a slap in the face by R* to anyone who wont/cant spend 150$ on a video game.

 

I voted whatever though, only because once the game comes out i wont care about a hot rod, a few extra (only decent) weapons, or a 25% skill boost.

Preordered the regular version back in 2012 and I'm sticking to that version. I'll just get all the DLC when a complete edition comes out. I don't care for the physical items.
