OPINIONS ON THE COLLECTORS EDITION PACK

I told myself from the start I wanted to get the most out of the game so if it means paying more then why not, I work my ass off I deserve it.

 

Slightly disappointed that Rockstar have lost a bit of credibility by blood sucking us but lets hope the game makes up for it eh!

I'm one who's yet to complain about how Rockstar have gone about GTA V (especially in regards to the one year silence), but I've got to say I've never felt so cheated by the ammount exclusive to the collectors edition. I mean Rockstar did this with Red Dead and Max Payne, but it was like a thing or two for each game, but with GTA V it seems like HEAPS of exclusive content.

 

Anyone else who probably can't afford the Collector's Edition feel cheated?

I probably can't afford it, but I'll try. I don't feel cheated because of the fact that A) It's the biggest GTA B) biggest selection of vehicles in the series and C) STILL biggest arsenal. I mean.it may be "cheap" but hell I want it.

Rockstar, it´s all about the money, is not it? No art book is a true shame. Both editions, special and collectors´s, are considerably worse than IV´s edition. Collector's edition for me. Five years, Rockstar fanboy etc..

All of the in-game bonuses will most likely become available to everyone a few months down the line at a price. The Collector's Edition only really gives advanced access to it.

All I care about is the in-game stuff. I assume that will be on PSN/Marketplace at some point if not unlocks in the game so I'll pass on paying more for these editions. I really hate R* have gone the road of putting in game items in these editions.

I feel like it's pretty f*cked up that I'll get an easier game when I get the special edition/collectors edition. I want to get the goodies but actually I don't want my game to be easier. (most games today are way too easy already, I don't want it to be even easier)

Very disappointed to see this game to the saints row route with DLC. Micro transactions. sh*t reminds me of the genki preorder bonus from sr3.

 

Hopefully everybody knows that probably around a quarter of the weapons, vehicles and clothing will be locked on disk waiting for us to give them two to four bucks an item.

Lol how am I selfish? I haven't even bought the game yet and no one is restricted from purchasing the other editions The point I want to get across is 1. Micro transactions is a bad thing 2. How special is the special edition when most of it becomes available latter?

I think there is alot of over reaction. Nothing in the special edition will be non accessable to everyone else. They said the guns will be free rather than having to pay for them. I assume they will do the same with the blimp and clothes. You will still be able to get them without the special edition but you will have to work for them.

 

The character models however...
