OPINIONS ON THE COLLECTORS EDITION PACK

I think this is the first time GTA's had such an interesting pre-order deal, exlusive vehicles, weapons, clothes and a 25% boost to your special abilities!

 

What're your opinions on this? It's a first for the series, do you feel cheated, are you going to get it? Do you think this is only part of the exclusive options?

 

I see other things too but tbh I need to do a number 2 so please explain them in full detail for me xo

Could this mean we all have an individual garage in multiplayer? How else would you get this car thats given out to owners of the collector's edition? Or is it purely for the GTA Racing, but why would you use an electric car?

I have to say, this the first time I've been disappointed by Rockstar, ever. The collectors edition, that I had been looking forward to, has turned out to be a bag with a key and some DLC.

 

Of course the map aswell, Los Santos by the looks of things has turned out to be smaller than LS in SA.

 

Wow, what a let down. Rockstar merchandise has always been classy and high quality. But the direction Rockstar has taken things this times makes me a bit worried how the actual game will turn out and what else Rockstar has planned for it, DLC wise.

 

Can't believe I'm saying it but wow, I think I'll stick to getting the standard version and see what happens.

I'm absolutely gutted about the weapons/blimp access type DLC's. really, disappointed.

-not so worried about the map as that is probably literally just the seafront section of LS.

I knew in my mind from the day I watched the first trailer that I would maximize my GTA V experience. If that means I'm paying $150 to get it all, then so be it.

 

All I'd like to know now is whether or not the game looks as good on Xbox as it does on Playstation. That, to me, is also apart of maximizing my GTA V experience. lol

 

When this info. leaked a few weeks back, it all seemed so lame and stupid, but now that I've seen what we can expect from this edition, I think it is worth picking up.

I forgot about the SnapBack. It seems Rockstar are really reaching out to the hipsters.

 

To me, it's not about having the extra stuff in game. The full game is ready and packed on to the disc. The one you payed £40 for at launch. These versions will cost up to and maybe over £100! And for what? There is nothing of any real value here.

 

Lastly, I'm 90% certain that the DLC featured, will soon after, be released on PS Store and Marketplace anyway.

And what the f*ck is the deal with "Grand Theft Auto Online".. if the game's more focused on online play they'd better have worked on there servers, and catering players with dodgy NAT types, at least Call of Duty did something right eventually.

I'm one who's yet to complain about how Rockstar have gone about GTA V (especially in regards to the one year silence), but I've got to say I've never felt so cheated by the ammount exclusive to the collectors edition. I mean Rockstar did this with Red Dead and Max Payne, but it was like a thing or two for each game, but with GTA V it seems like HEAPS of exclusive content.

 

Anyone else who probably can't afford the Collector's Edition feel cheated?
