If you want the total views for each video R* has realeased you will have to find out the counts from the duplicate videos that fans have just put up, or other sites that have the videos on there servers, and of course R*'s official website count. It's been about three weeks since the character trailers were released. I wonder if interest for the game outside of the fandom has gone down? Opinions,as always, are welcome. Wait?! I know a lot of people who will buy GTAV, but I don't know anyone who keeps up with development. GTAV will break sales records, and it will receive high critical praise. That's the most important thing for me. If all they ever gave me was "GTA V will be out 17th September 2013" that would be enough for me to buy it. Trailers/screens and previews are nice but Rockstar doesn't need to convince me to buy the game. I'll blindly buy every GTA game unless they start whoring out like cawadooty and Assasin's creed. Last week's Assassin's Creed trailer has below 400k and the Saints Row IV gameplay only has just under half a million views. In popularity, GTA is really only second to Call of Duty. Watches from official R* page are not counted. People with decent connection will go there instead of YouTube 2. Plenty of copies available on other channel to generate attention. By the time the second trailer came out we were starved for a year for anything related to GTA V. These character related trailers were were fairly minor compared the the first two. I have always believed Rockstar would be better off waiting until they are at least within 6 to 9 months of a release date, before announcing anything about their upcoming games. We first received confirmation that GTAV was in development in 2011! Yet, here we are, and we have been hearing about the game for almost 2 years.
