Sean5 Posted May 22, 2013 Share Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) Yes, I simply love the way it has always online DRM(I know it's not always, but once a day is just as freaking bad) to play single player games, it's not like another company did this already and it had a huge community backlash or anything. People with no/dodgy internet connections will simply love this console! Oh, and bringing a game over to your friends house? Hah! Microsoft says: "Go shove a stick up your cornhole!" Wanting to buy a pre owned game? Microsoft makes the same statement, forcing you to pay a fee if you do! Oh boy, we can watch basic timed TV cable on it(For a fee, obviously). Not like the world has moved onto netflix or Hulu (for you Americans) And forced Kinect, so they can make more of us who want to sit back and relax have to get up and jump around the room like a complete nutter. I love the new system appearance... actually goes with the name, no stupid tray to help scratch up the bottom of your DVDs, and it is good. The only thing I wish for it is to have a white edition. It's a console not a game you don't need to play it to know how sh*t it is. Always on Kinect, fee for used/borrowed games, always online, and mandatory install. Based on these features you can form a good conclusion. It's like a car. If a car you're looking at gets 5 miles to the gallon and tops out at 40 mph, you don't need to drive it to know its sh*t. I don't really care Sonys reasons for doing something or not the point still stands that a hardware reveal is just for that and that's hardware. If Sony wasn't ready to show the console why announce it so soon? Don't bother answering this as it's a rhetorical question. Still I've no issue with how Sony or Microsoft did there presentations so no need to jump to Sonys defense like a fly around dog sh*t. I'm just pointing out that those who think Microsoft have done wrong by just showing hardware are completely stupid as that's what a console reveal is. The games come at E3 a a few weeks. Give a list of at least 5 points on why Microsoft apparently wins. I hate to say it but I do agree Microsoft did do it better. This was a console reveal not something you would get at E3. Sony showed a lot of games and not the hardware. Microsoft showed the Hardware but not many games. At a console revel hardware is the thing you should be seeing. Here is a funny but true video to lighten this topic up. But Sony DID reveal the hardware, in actually a lot more detail, they just didn't show the consoles final design. It hasnt even been released yet and it sounds like it might actually be a good system from what ive saw in the announcement yesterday: - improved graphics - improved controller for percision - it responds to your every command and movements with the improved kinect sensor -You can open multiple windows for interaction all at one time - BLU-RAY drive (finally) - New HALO series created by the legend Steven Spielberg - 15 exclusives launching with the system Now the design of the xbox is weird, and I dont know why its called xbox one, but other than that I dont see anything wrong with it. What do you guys think? - No sh*t, Sherlock - What precision? It's barely different. - So does my smart phone... And the Kinect is f*cking ugly. - Useless feature. It's a GAME console. I already have a computer for that, anyway.... - Yay! But wait... What happened 7 years ago? - Am I the only person that doesn't like Halo? That is good news, though. I loved my Xbox 360 and original Xbox, and I am hating the Xbox One...So yes you are right it is full of Xbox One haters, because we have a REASON to hate it. Have to be online every time I install a game? Hell I dont even have to do that on my PC. My router is in the far end of my House and I like to play my Xbox on my Large 60in TV, be a real pain in the ass having to drag cords out to hook up my xbox to the net just to start up a new game. Kinect Is pretty much mandatory and certain games/microsoft will force you to have it on. Why? Something to do with tracking your information of some sorts. Seems like a major invasion of privacy to me. What about used games? Well they are pretty much destroying that market. I know several business's in town that do good in this department. Microsoft is pretty much going to run them out of business. Who wants to buy a used game just to be charged again for the Full price of the game? Indie Devs are being punished again by Microsoft but unlike the early days of the Xbox 360 where it was their only mainstream outlet, they now have Steam, Wii U and even the PS4 and Vita as platforms where they can publish for free, MANY Indie Devs have already said they're not going to release any games on the Xbox One because of this! Like i'm sitting in my room with my friend and I tell him I wanna sell my Xbox and buy a PS4, my doors and windows lock and the Console Off button get's disabled whilst the Kinect seemingly has no clue what's going on.
