What system will you play GTA VI on?

Personally I am unimpressed with both systems. No backwards compatibility, no second hand games, always online, etc. I really don't want to buy either, but GTA VI will inevitably be on one or the other and I really don't want to buy a gaming quality PC, which would likely be twice more expensive than getting a console but I might have too. I definitely plan on getting a Wii U. The software lineup is starting to come together and there's none of the cons that the PS4/Xbox One have. At this point I am considering getting a gaming quality PC in 5 or 6 years (whenever the next GTA comes out for PC). I am not a PC person. I am one of those casual PC owners that basically just uses it for "teh internets".

The only reason I will buy a next-gen console is because of the GTA-games that will come out on that system.

I choose PS4 as it has a better CPU and RAM, but if I have a much better computer at the time it gets released I will definitely choose PC playing with a PS/Xbox controller.

Voted PS4. Not impressed by the new Xbox. Just doesn't appeal to me in anyway at all.

 

I've been a console owner all my life. I want a Playstation 4 but if Sony do any deal breakers such as used game fees, always online drm or anything else of that nature then I will just put money towards a PC. I'd be happy with a PS4. I'm not too knowledgable about building PC's so it will be a huge hassle learning everything.

 

It's still early, I just hope Sony pull this off.

To be dealt with, I might not be able to play the game as well, since for the next 4-6 years onwards, I already have a job and gaming may not be my priority already. But TBH with the question, I don't know what console will run the best performance as of yet since we don't know yet what these new overpowered consoles that match today's PC specs (and tomorrow will become a waste to next generation PC specs) are capable of. But PS4 would be my choice since I always stick to Sony tech as always.

I don´t think that PS4 and Xbox One will be actual when GTA 6 come out. So for the console fans the poll should include instead PS5 and Xbox (whatever).

I think I would be the same. In 5 years I will be 34 and I hope to (finally) have found at the very least a girlfriend, but hopefully a fiance or wifey. A lot of my friends that have girlfriends and wives still play videogames regardless. There is this one guy who is the boyfriend of one of my good friends that plays games all the freakin time. I don't want to be that guy.

Yes, PS4 will be outdated when GTA 6 comes out, so I don`t think GTA 6 will work on PS4.

Well I much prefer PC but the games normally always come out on console first so I would have to start off with one of them first, and if that's the case I would go for PS4 since Xbox One is obviously just...ugh. However, if it came out on PC at the same time as consoles I would both be extremely happy and also not bother with any of the consoles. Of course, chances of that happening aren't exactly very likely, unfortunately...

I am not entirely sure which system I will buy GTA VI for. I'm more of a PC gamer since around half a decade now but I consider to buy a next-generation console and the PlayStation 4 seems to be the better option thus far. But I will buy the game most likely for PC again because I prefer to play my games there. Though, it's possible that I will buy the console version first, and then the PC version. That's what I'm going to do if Rockstar keeps releasing their games for PC a few months to half a year after the initial release. Also, in a few years, I will already have a job so I will be able to buy the same game twice...

One thing I must mention is how unimpressed I am with the PS4 and Xbox One at the moment. When the PS3 was announced it seemed great (and I really love the PS3) but the new consoles are just unimpressive. So, with that said, I may not even get a new console but if I do it will be the PS4

Sorry but discussing the next Grand Theft Auto title at this stage is a bit premature given that GTA V isn't even on shelf's yet.

We should be waiting a while after V's release to consider making topics about this.

 

When a dedicated section has been made for the next GTA title, then you know it's the right time to make topics about it.
