GTA V Trailor Could Be Symbolic of GTA London

Hey there everyone!

I have a possible theory for the next GTA and it is visible in the GTA V Trailers.

When Michael was first shown (without a name) in the first GTA V trailer, many fans concluded it was Tommy Vercetti based on his features.

Also, when Franklin was seen (without a name), fans also christened him as CJ from GTA SA.

However, Trevor does not resemble any GTA character or protagonist from any previous GTA titles.

This I think, could be a secret reference to the next GTA.

 

Tommy Vercetti was in GTA Vice City.

CJ was in GTA San Andreas.

But, Trevor resembles neither or any other city.

 

We already know from the GTA IV guide that 'Liberty City is Over', aka "We are not making another Liberty City based GTA".

We have had 2 games based in Vice City (GTA VC & VCS).

We have had 4 in Liberty City (GTA 2, GTA 3, GTA LCS & GTA IV)

We have had San Andreas 1 time and Los Santos (from SA) coming in GTA V.

So where are we going now?

 

Vice City wouldn't be as successful imho without the 80s feel. This was its main selling point as a city.

Michael or 'Tommy Vercetti' represents the Vice City era.

Franklin or 'CJ' Represents the San Andreas/Los Santos era.

Trevor is 'unknown' as he does not resemble any previous character.

But, actually, he does

He represents the only city to not have a 3D make-over.

The only GTA title where we dont have a solid 3D likeness to a protagonist in full (only images).

That city is LONDON.

Trevor is unorthodox, just like how London is unorthodox in the fact that it has never been made into 3D reality.

Trevor also doesn't care about reality and just does what he wants to.

This is very contrasting to the setting of V. V is based around 2012 and the times of recession and banking crisis where 'the almighty dollar' is the key to success.

London recently had the 2012 Olympics where the entire city (and country) forgot about the bad times and did what it does best; entertain and have fun.

 

OR, the fact that Trevor is not comparable to any other character might hint at a new city/cities.

Maybe Texas and the oil business.

Maybe St Lois.

Maybe Canada/USA or Florida/Cuba/Puerto Rico combination?

 

This theory might be just pure coincidence, but Rockstar love hiding messages in their games

gta 2 wasn't in lc . It was in anywhere city !
