SkyReaper2014
I've been thinking a lot about how horrible I was at driving in IV even after all this time. With skills and such confirmed I feel a type of optional driving school could be reasonable and even help people like me. At the same time I understand it could be considered useless to some. Opinions? Please explain why if no.
jamieleng
I really respect you for saying that 'you' were terrible at driving & not blaming the game. If an advanced driving school could help you to improve, by giving you instruction & tasks to complete & practice, then I'm all for it. I also think flying planes in V, will be much more difficult than SA, or flying helicopters in IV. I'd like it to be presented in a realistic way, with an instructor actually giving you verbal instructions. Obviously it should be optional & not part of 100% completion. Freezer89
Even with the return of the skills I don't think there'll be any driving schools.. you learn it through driving casually (freeroam or missions whatever). Same with flying and other stuff. The more you do these activities the better you get. Of course it depends on your own skill also.
Mokrie Dela
Agreed to the above. The driving in gta iv was brilliant. I've been playing III VC and SA lately, and the driving in those games, while good, is just not up to scratch. The driving school was good in SA, but it was too "perfectionist" I hate games that say you HAVE to win, and HAVE to get gold. I had to "cheat" my way to get the Hunter because I could just not do the flying school to gold, as with the driving school. Having it as a tool to increase your ability, and having an award for completing it - with no rating - is a good idea. I don't feel that the driving school actually made you a better driver, just fluked my way to finishing it The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. solofme
I don't think a 'school' will help you, experience is the key. First time I played IV it was like driving on ice, but once you get the hang of it its just insanely fun to drive in IV

wwinterj
I'm all for schools making a return. I preferred the arcade feel of last GTA games when driving as to how it is in IV. Maybe V will attempt to mix the two. We shall see.

GroundZero
If the schools are not necessary to advance the story, then why not add them?
Blingy
I feel like it would be nice if they were added. They wouldn't require getting 100%, but it's an option if you would like so. I liked the Driving School, and the Bike School was pretty fun too. The others I don't really remember considering I must've not cared enough for them. It would be nice if you were able to actually hone your skills there though, with different types of terrain you would have to learn. Sides, the Hotknife was so totally worth it!
