In a few years you'll see SP being mixed with MP. In a few years you'll see SP being mixed with MP. NO they will NOT do this, it can't happen. It should be the way it is now and stay that way. I like both of em, but i put way more hours in SP mode. Tbh the day that happen is the day gaming starts to die Imo. There's to many fans who love of the SP mode. Remember when they announced GTA V the same day when Battlefield 3 came out? Remember when they revealed screenshots the same day when Battlefield 4 was revealed? And remember when they also revealed screenshots on Christmas Day? How awesome would that be if this actually happened! GTA is a SINGLE PLAYER game. Let them focus on their main selling point. The Multiplayer is just a add on. Yeah, ok The only GTA game to have MP is IV. ( TLAD/TBOGT are add ons ). So I am right. GTA is a Single Player game. If you want to play nothing but Multiplayer games then I got a list for you: Number 1 Number 2 Have fun with these Multiplayer games while the real GTA fans play GTA. I was about to come on here and bloop on you, but I'll let it slide. Its not worth it. Multi player WILL be a BIG aspect of this game. Like it or not. Like it or not more people buy GTA for its Single Player. I am also one of those people who will buy it for mainly single player. I will also like multiplayer but you pulled a dick move and told me to play something else. People who just want to play GTA V for its MP should just leave. Single Player is what made GTA so huge. While MP made Call of Duty so huge. Multiplayer is just a waste of time and disc space. In years to come there won't be nothing special about the Multiplayer cause no one will play it. When GTA VI comes out I bet you most of the online players of GTA V won't even play that online. Now with that space wasted making MP it could of been in Single Player making the game larger and better. You seriously need to STFU. Like no joke. Do you realize how idiotic you sound? "People who just want to play GTA V for its MP should just leave." Why? Why should they leave? Who are you to tell them what to do? People can enjoy the game for whatever the hell they want and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it, so tough f*cking luck buddy. I know a few people that like GTA IV for the online because it gives a bunch of different things to do with friends online. There is only so much that single player can cater to. Dog fights (if planes are available for use in MP) will definitely be a sh*t load more fun than with the AI in SP (I know they were in SA:MP, of course this is a completely different game, so that could change). Exploring the countryside with your friends will probably be more fun than by yourself. Really, the story becomes the big difference overall between SP and MP, there obviously won't be any story mode for MP (as far as I'm concerned), but once that story is over, what happens then? If you take the story out of the equation, MP becomes superior to SP. It's all about personal preferences, and frankly, you don't have a say in what anyone does. /rant OT: It would be nice to hear some info on MP, hopefully, they'll be able to subdue my fear of planes being taken out of MP for whatever reason. So, Even if we didn't have Multiplayer, I can Guarentee our singleplayer experience would HARDLY change. Like at most, We'd get like 1 extra Ped model. This. The only reason lots of other games out there take up space for the MP part is because the devs put in another groups of maps. Take a look at AC3, for example. This wasn't the case for Call of Bullsh*t, though as it simply reuses the same map with the layout hardly changed. GTA reuses the SP map for MP(this shows how great R* is at level design), and simply reuse or add a couple of new peds. The MP portion of GTA WAS just an add-on in GTA 4. It was Rockstar's first try/experiment on how good future games' MP might become. This won't be the case in GTA V, though as Rockstar stated something like "we is innoVaTTing MP FTW!". If anything Rockstar will want people to buy it because they will be releasing games on it eventually. If it was a game they'd try steal thunder. (No offense) While it's all subjective I do find people who buy games like this just for the online to be stupid. Simply because they are missing out on what makes GTA what it is and that's the single player. multiplayer is the present and will be the future, get over it. In a few years you'll see SP being mixed with MP. No that won't ever happen. Single player is just that. Single player games will always be around and the single player part of games are the game that move the industry forward. Batman, Bioshock, Uncharted and so on are praised mostly for there single player because of what they did for the industry. MP doesn't affect a game one, damn, bit. I disagree. With some developers they spend so much time making a tacked on online component that the single player suffers. God of War is a good example as is Bioshock 2. It's not a issue for R* though.
