Niick99
I really hope they put some great rock songs in the game. Songs from System of a Down and Smashing Pumpkins and Avenged Sevenfold. They have had great Classic rock in past gta games, but I would really enjoy seeing 90's and 00's rock songs. Anybody else second this notion? GTAFan0913
I am hoping for this as well. GTA IV honestly did not have many good rock songs. Liberty Rock Radio was mediocre in my opinion. Hoping they step it up a notch in GTA V. Even San Andreas had some great stuff.

Dick Justice
Was I the only one that really liked LRR and Radio Broker? I thought they had some really good tracks, though admittedly a few bad ones as well. I also enjoyed LCHC before The Lost and Damned. I'm just gonna say it, I don't want a System of a Down song in this game. Just the completely wrong vibe.

Dick Justice
But Rockstar are never going to make a radio station that consists entirely of your favourite bands and songs. If they did, it would be a gigantic coincidence. There will always be stations with great songs, mediocre songs and bad songs. It's just how it is. So stop claiming a station was bad when there are others out there who may have enjoyed it. It's like, you say you want System of a Down in the game and I say I don't. Either way, one of us will be disappointed.

Ex Hellraiser
LRR got a little better in TLAD, but we need a more modern rock station. I hope we get at least 1 Avenged Sevenfold song, also considering they are from Huntington Beach... Would fit the local area radio nicely.

CryptReaperDorian
I really, really like Liberty Rock Radio. It has some mainstream music on it, but it also has a lot of songs that are relatively "underground". Honestly, I'd rather listen to a new, good song than a song I've heard on the radio a few thousand times arleady.

Shenmue18
I would like a 60's-80's rock station and a 90's-00's rock station. It'd be cool to have stuff like Nirvana, System of a Down, Disturbed, Alice in Chains, The Pixies, Avenged Sevenfold and other 90's to 2000's rock band. Ash_735
In all honesty, there better at least be SOME Desert Rock/Stoner Rock, this f*cking stuff originated in California and LA and the Palm Deserts, I mean come on, bands like , , , , , , , and even stuff by . And hell, just the description of it: The Palm Desert Scene is a group of related bands and musicians from Palm Desert in Southern California. Their hard rock sound – which is often described as '"desert rock" – contains elements of psychedelia, blues, heavy metal and other genres, such as hardcore, as well as distinctive repetitive drum beats; typically performed with electric guitar, bass guitar and a drum kit. The musicians often play in multiple bands simultaneously, and there is a high rate of collaboration between bands. The Palm Desert Scene is also notable for producing stoner rock pioneers Kyuss. The term "stoner rock" is sometimes used interchangeably with "Palm Desert rock." However, not all Palm Desert scene bands are "stoner rock." If not a single trace of those bands appears in GTAV, then Rockstar seriously dropped the ball. edit: I mean come on, can't you just imagine riding over the dunes and dirt of Blaine County with some of those songs blasting out? That would be f*cking ace! Edited May 21, 2013 by Ash_735

That would be f*cking ace! Oh god yes. I asked for this in one of those old threads about what stations you want. The Palm Desert/Springs area is between LA and the Salton Sea, so I wouldn't be remotely surprised if that area is in the game. Mark Lanegan would make a great DJ/Host, only if my reason is his voice sways me. It would also add life to another area of the map that could go unnoticed next to the mountains/LS metropolitan area.
