GR7
Looking back on the past Now that we know allot more about GTAV I thought it would be fun to dig up our old posts about our theories and opinions on what we wanted for GTAV. You can also post other users theories that you might have remembered aswell if you want but don't be afraid to post the predictions you got terribly wrong yourselves. Here are two of mine Mainly right Thread: Trailer 1May 24 2012 http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1061327876 It could work similar to the bank robbery in VC but for more than one mission, having a team would even suit the multi protag theory, each of the say 5 team members could have their own stories in between each big heist and each team member has different styled missions for example Hobbo= Stealth based missions(5 missions). Tank top guy= Traditional San andreas styled missions(20 missions). Team member= High speed missions involving chases and races(10 missions). Team member 4= Combat oriented missions(15 missions). Ned Luke= A mix of every mission style aswell as more methodical missions (25 missions). Heist= Missions to wrap up each section of the story(5 missions) A Heist could mark an end to a particular part of the storyline from here you control Ned Lukes character and you could give each team member a specific role based on their strengths. Each heist would become progressively harder and more complex. Not so right Thread: An Older protagonist? Jun 22 2011 http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?act=ST&...st&p=1060551183 No thanks If you thought Niko's movement was sluggish imagine how a 50 year olds movement will be like not to mention him probably complaining that hes "too old for this sh*t" like 100 times during the game. On a serious note an older guy will probably lead to a more serious story line which means less wacky missions (North's big mistake with IV) which will mean the mission variety will consist of shootouts, shootouts and you guessed it more shootouts. Bonus Here's something amusing from the first page of the fanart thread in 2008 An Older protagonist suggested by a user called Mike (Michael), it's not much but I still laughed looking back at it. GR7
Reading through genesis it's funny how many people thought we were heading to Vice city there are some crazy theories in that thread. grope_4_that_date It's Vice City! I have both GTA4 and Red Ded Redemption. I started both games up and judged where each location was facing. The GTA4 screen points DIRECTLY south...perfectly lining up with Miami. Then I looked for RDR's screen, and judging by the mountains, concluded that the screen was pointing east. RDR is based on the Texas/Mexico border. IT LEADS TO VICE CITY!!! ChossenOne I need my shades, 'cause I'm heading to VICE CITY! Garfield 2 Bernie = Florian = Florida = Vice City ?
