Does Lamar know about Michael?

I was thinking that part of the trailer where Michael is sitting on the bench and Franklin and Lamar roll up and ask for directions it is clear that Franklin and Michael haven't met up to that point. Or haven they? DUH DUH DUN.

 

It occurred to me that Michael represents a new aspiration and different life for Franklin. Michael wants to bring up him as a son and teach him the ropes of making serious money and Franklin is willing to learn. Money is his ticket out of gangbanging. If he is rich he never has to gang bang again and risk his life and more importantly Chops. However Lamar wants Franklin to stay in the hood as its their "heritage" and he shouldn't turn his back on it. Do you think Franklin is keeping his life of commiting heists with Michael a secret from Lamar?

 

I doubt Michael would want Franklin telling anyone else about their partnership for trust reasons. I mean if Lamar found out he'll see Micahel as the one making Franklin turn into a snitch. Maybe in that scene Michael and Franklin already know each other but by chance Lamar just happened to ask him for help and they are both playing dumb.

Nice post OP - it'd be interesting to find this out but I'm certain no one has an explanation for ya now.

 

Didn't get the part where you said 'If he is rich he never has to gang bang again and risk his life and more importantly Chops'... more importantly Chops? Why would he value his own life over a dogs, he's not one of those animal freaks (I hope)
