Pyrrhic
sh*t, I am genuinely saddened to hear this. I can't watch the video because I'm at school but I'm sure it would mean a lot. R.I.P. to him and his awesome music, my condolences go to his family and all my co-fans from around the world.
trip
sh*t. No way. I have a vivid memory of my mother hooking me up and saying "you should check out The Doors". I think I'll fire up 'best of' when I get to my office later tonight. Ray Manzarek is what I think of when I think of The Doors - sure it was Jim but those keyboards are what made The Doors sound like The Doors. Melancholia
That's upsetting. He was one of my favorite keyboard players. He will be missed.

Brown Sugar
Wow, that's a huge loss. The guy was a genius and absolutely defined most of The Doors' songs, loved what he did. RIP.
hmvartak
One of the best keyboard players. Without him, the doors could not be that successful. RIP
Tyler
Despite their troubles later in life I always respected the hell out of Ray Manzarek the most out of all the living members. Truly gonna miss the guy, he had mad skill and helped form one of the pioneer rock bands. The Doors are really the first exposure I got into music that I picked out, myself. Feels surreal.
