Can the protagonists buy the same properties?

As the title states, do you guys think the protagonists can buy the same properties, as in, are all the properties available to the protagonists, or are some properties available to certian protagonists? It would be cool if it were the former, but I can't imagine Trevor in a Vinewood Penthouse suite, nor can I imagine Franklin in a backwoods shack. Maybe for comic relief, maybe.

It would be nice if they each had there own properties/businesses available to purchase for each different protagonist. But there should also be some properties/businesses that are available to all 3, too.

I can imagine anything I want, that's what games are all about. We are the character, so if we want Trevor to live in a mansion he can live in a mansion. The only reason you cant imagine trevor in a mansion because he is a dirty poor bastard, but we gunna make him rich so it will suit him.

My guess the other protags can go inside and save but id like it if you couldn't. i want them to have separate lives

There will probably be select properties that only a certain protag can buy, like let's say theres 20 places to rent, its up to you which protag rents them, but if it was a lux mansion in rockford hills I doubt Trevor would be able to buy it, same as Michael and some Trailer in Sandy Shores

Well, there was a preview that mentioned Michael having a place out in the woods to get away from his family so I think it's more about their personalities than where they'd supposedly in the criminal food chain/ladder.

I agree. It just wouldn't feel like a GTA game if you were limited by characters, on which properties you can purchase.

Hahaha this is exactly what I thought. Imagine Michael buying some shiitty trailer and Trevor some ultra luxurious mansion But in the end, we are the 'boss', and we decide who lives where

I think each protag will have their own set of properties they can buy. If all three had the ability to buy the same ones, it would be kinda confusing, as one may buy a property, then switch to another character, and that character no longer has the opportunity to buy it.

I think this was one of the big reasons that Rockstar didn't want to put purchasing property in the game because with the multiple protags,it is kinda difficult to implement it. But i guess they found a way since properties are confirmed to be back now .
