AtomicPunk Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Hey guys & gals, and everything in between! I think Friday, May 24th may have been the actual release date for GTA V. We seen that number too many times for it NOT to mean something, and the whole: "We aim not to lose it" message along with it. Well, I guess R* lost it, and, as we all know, delayed it 'til Sept. 17--about 4 months later they said, which would put the original release date at 2405 or 05-24-2013. So I wonder if something is planned for Friday? Maybe the website launch or something else? It will be interesting to see if anything happens at all. I haven't been here for a while because I suffered a bad back injury and have to have surgery soon: L4 - S-1 fusion with two rods and bolts. Frankly, I'm scared to death! I've been in a lot of pain. It was on a tail of a plane. The number was 24051972, the date which the Rangers of Scotland won the European Cup Winners' Cup against Soviet team Dynamo Moscow: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972_European...'_Cup_Final Not saying that's a reference, at all - but if it was, it's more likely that. (As you know, Rockstar North is based in Scotland - and you can see other Scottish references as well, like Edinburgh's postcode as graffiti on a wall in V) The whole "Sam Houser" birthday rumor thing is complete tosh. It started when someone added 24051972 to his wiki page, and kept re-editing it back in. He wasn't born in 1972. There's a bio, written by himself, on MCVUK where he gives his birth date. When that was debunked (although I see my efforts didn't help by much), the rumor somehow recently turned into "It's Dan Houser's birthday". That might work, but Dan wasn't born in May. His real birth month is available in a book about Rockstar/GTA published a couple of years ago... and the precise year is also not 1972 based on official statements available and documented online.
