Will You 'Blindly' Buy GTAV?

It's not about being a fanboi.  It's about being able to trust the GTA brand.  Rockstar have not produced a single bad GTA ... ever.  Every single one has been a blockbuster.

 

Now maybe, one day, they will get complacent and produce a bad one.  But it hasn't happened yet and, from the look of it, it isn't going to happen with V.

So according to you, GTAIV is a step up from SA? well...bad news then! According to ME its NOT the case! ...so yeah people and their opinions you know...thank God i'm allowed to have one!

At the very least, it IS a step up in existing mechanics.

If you don't agree, than it's obvious you're a SA Fanboy / IV Hater.

GTAForums is full of them.

 

Also, when did he say IV is a step up from SA?

Because last time i checked, he said every one of them is good.

 

 

OT: I'll Buy V no questions asked. Knew it will be the best game this gen before R* even announced it.

mabye not even a diehard fan since I have only played GTA(1997), GTA Vice City, GTAiv, and GTA san Andreas but I loved all those games

Rockstar has revolutionized the open world game, making it my favorite genre of video games

 

of course Rock* is not goin to f*ck this game up, it will rock!

 

had it pre-ordered way back in Sept 2012 alot of good that did tho ;-p

I am confident that R* has learned what people expect from them, what people like and what is feasible on current gen.

 

With that said they simply must deliver the next GTA on a RDR or MP3 level if they want GTA to continue being a household name.

 

Buy blindly with confidence.

No I will buy it like normal. I think leaving the house, walking all the way to my metro stop, riding the metro, navigating through my town centre, finding GAME, fumbling in my wallet for the right coins, will be to hard with a blindfold.

I rarely rely on reviews for games I've been following as long as GTA V. When you're really excited for a game like this, you usually have a good deal of information to go by to make up your mind and some critic isn't going to change that. Plus, a lot of reviewers have trashed games in the past that I've really liked, so I don't really care either way what they say. If I want something, I'll buy it. I have expendable income for it. I'm buying GTA V day 1.

IV was a step-up in terms of game mechanics and bringing the GTA series into current-gen. It definitely is a step-up from SA in many areas except for the fact that once you finished the main storyline there was no much to do in free-roam/spend your money on.

 

I am satisfied that R* has learned from this and listened to the community in this aspect when it comes to V. I have already pre-ordered V and will be getting it on the 17th or around that time. I don't need reviews to tell me that V will be great based on everything that I have seen and read about it.

 

If that's blind fanboyism then so be it but for me it's the fact that I trust R* to make a more than decent game and it seems that when it comes to V they have more than listened to the community.
